Welcome to your tapping and visualization practice for letting go.
I'll invite you to begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Closing down your eyes if that's comfortable for you,
Softening your shoulders,
And allowing your breath to deepen naturally.
Let's start off with three deep breaths together,
Breathing in through the nose as the belly rises and out through the mouth,
Relaxing.
In through the nose,
Belly rises and exhale,
Beginning to let go.
Breathing in to the belly and breathing out with a sigh.
This meditation combines EFT tapping with visualization,
Helping you release old stories and cultivate strong emotional boundaries.
We will start with a setup statement,
So go with the emotion that feels the most emotionally charged for you at this time,
As you fill in the blanks for the following two statements.
Even though I currently feel I want to feel Okay,
Good.
Now I'd like you to rate the current intensity level of what you're feeling,
Whether that be hurt,
Confused,
Angry,
Anxious,
Or whatever else.
How intense is that feeling in this moment from a zero to ten?
Let's begin.
So we will start off at the karate chop point on the side of the hand,
And you can tap on it with four fingers of your other hand.
You can repeat after me or replace the words I say with the ones that seem more appropriate for you.
So begin the tapping now on the karate chop point on either hand.
On either hand.
Even though I'm currently feeling I want to be feeling Deep breath in And let it go Even though I carry these old stories and burdens I deeply and completely accept myself Deep breath in And let it go Even though I've been holding on to pain I am open to releasing it now Deep breath in And let it go Even though I may feel tangled in the pain of the past I allow peace to also exist within me Deep breath in And let it go Now we'll start tapping on the eyebrow point at the inner edge of the eyebrow,
Either one.
I honor the experiences that shaped me And I no longer need to carry their weight Deep breath in And let it go And let it go Outside of the eyebrow,
I release the need to hold on to what no longer serves me Deep breath in And let it go Under the eye It's safe to let go now I am free from these old patterns Deep breath in And let it go Under the nose I release the fear of letting go Deep breath in And let it go Under the bottom lip I allow myself to feel light and free Deep breath in And breathing it out Collarbone point My heart opens to the peace that is my birthright Deep breath in And breathing it out Under the arm About where a brass drop would be under the armpit I release the attraction of absorbing others' emotions Deep breath in And let it go Top of the head I allow myself to return to peace Knowing I am safe in my center Deep breath in And let it go Bringing both hands to heart center now Breathing into the heart And breathing out of the heart Coming back to the feeling you started with and rated Noticing how strong it is now from zero to ten Now we'll go back to the karate chop point together at the side of the hand Even though I want to help others I know I don't need to take on their pain Deep breath in And let it go Inside of the eyebrow I can witness without absorbing Deep breath in And let it go Outside of the eye I trust that others are capable of their own healing Deep breath in And let it go Under the eye I show up with compassion Without losing myself Deep breath in And let it out Under the nose It's okay to let others have their own emotions Deep breath in And let it out Under the bottom lip I can remain calm Even when others are in distress Deep breath in And let it go Collarbone My peace stays with me No matter the situation Deep breath in And let it go Under the arm I am rooted in love and compassion Deep breath in And let it go Top of the head I honor myself and others By staying centered in my light Deep breath in And let it go Bringing both hands to heart center Taking a deep breath in through the nose And exhale through the mouth with a sigh Coming back to the feeling you started with and rated Noticing how strong it is now from zero to ten And I'll invite you now to close your eyes if they aren't already And settle deeper into your breath Begin by feeling the weight of your body sinking into the earth beneath you And let it sink deeper Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet Descending through the soil and rock Deeper and deeper Anchoring you to the center of the earth Feeling the solid,
Steady support of the earth holding you,
Grounding you And letting go Now imagine yourself sitting beside a flowing river The water is cool and clear,
Winding gently through a lush landscape You can hear the soothing sounds of the water moving over smooth stones The sky above is wide and open,
With soft clouds drifting by Breathe deeply And with each inhale,
Draw in the peace of this place With each exhale,
Feel yourself releasing any lingering heaviness Letting the river carry it away Imagine your worries,
Past stories,
And the emotions you've absorbed from others Being gently washed downstream,
Far beyond where you can see Now sense a soft golden light forming around your body This light is both gentle and strong It wraps around you like a cocoon Creating a boundary that allows you to feel open and connected While remaining centered in yourself As the river flows along the shoreline,
You can feel the water's warmth Beside you,
You notice that emotions,
Yours and others' Move through like leaves drifting along the water The leaves float by,
Touching the surface briefly before continuing down the stream Reminding you that emotions are temporary They come,
And they go Taking a moment to tune into your golden light It creates space for you to care and support others Without getting entangled in their waves You are free to witness,
Listen,
And love While remaining anchored in your own peace Feeling your connection to the earth through the roots at your feet The ground supports you The river flows beside you And the golden light protects you,
No matter what comes your way Taking three deep breaths here Inhaling deeply through the nose And exhaling softly through the mouth As you breathe,
Know that this grounded,
Peaceful space is always available to you All you have to do is return to your breath and connect with the light within As you're ready,
Slowly beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes Gently bringing yourself back to the present moment Maybe rolling into your shoulders and your neck,
Softly Taking your time as you come back into the room Feeling how light you are You've released what no longer serves you You've reclaimed your peace And you are ready to be present for others without losing yourself in their waves Taking one final deep breath in through the nose And exhale fully through the mouth Gently fluttering your eyes open as you're ready Welcome back May this practice be of benefit And may it help you shine your light in the way that only you can
