There have been moments in my life when I have experienced pain.
There were times when I felt sadness.
Times in my life when the hurt was so unbearable,
Too unbearable,
Both emotionally and physically.
It has been in these times that I became stronger,
That I created ways to protect myself.
I created defenses.
I created walls.
And these walls were built to keep out the pain and the suffering.
These walls worked at keeping the pain out.
But it is time to tear these walls down.
For in building these defenses,
I also blocked out a piece of me.
These walls blocked the pain,
But they also blocked others from feeling my love.
These walls kept the world from seeing all of me.
These walls kept me from experiencing all of life,
Everything that life has to offer.
And so it is time to tear these walls down.
And I'd like you to visualize your heart wall and imagine tearing this heart wall down.
How do you want to tear your wall down?
Maybe one brick at a time.
Maybe all at once with a big explosion.
Or maybe you'd like to see a wrecking ball crashing into the wall.
It's time to tear it down.
So take a moment,
Visualizing this,
Visualizing your wall coming down.
As your wall comes down,
Notice how your body feels.
Notice that as the wall comes down,
Love begins to rush in.
As your wall comes down,
Your inner love rushes out.
Tear that wall down.
It is time to break free of these restraints,
This blockage.
It's time to set yourself free.
Visualize that wall coming down.
For many of us,
We have experienced much pain,
Maybe over time.
And your wall might be thick,
It might be wide,
It might be miles long.
And so this might be a practice that you come back to over and over.
And little by little,
We break free.
Little by little,
We tear that wall down.
And when we do,
We experience life more fully.
And take just a moment to place your hands onto that heart space.
And send your heart love.
Send your heart compassion.
Send gratitude for how wise your heart was,
And how it worked to keep it safe.
Your big,
Beautiful,
Tender heart.
But you are now strong and ready to experience life fully.
And in this moment,
You want to experience all the emotions.
And so we let the wall go.
And with the hands still placed on the heart,
Still sending love,
Compassion.
We say out loud,
I love you.
I love you.
Namaste.
