And welcome to today's tapping meditation.
Today we are tapping to improve or increase our feelings of worthiness.
And I'd like you to take a moment to consider your own personal feelings of worthiness.
On the outside,
You may stand tall.
You may appear strong to others.
You may use words like,
I feel strong.
I'm okay.
I am good.
But today's tapping meditation is allowing us to dive a little deeper.
To also feel good on the inside.
To pay attention to those spaces or areas of doubt that you might have.
Some concerns with worthiness.
And take in a deep breath as we begin today's tapping meditation and allow the body to soften.
Find yourself grounding down either by feeling the surface beneath you or placing your feet on the earth.
As we move through this tapping,
We want to be connected to something.
And bring back to mind that idea of feeling worthy.
And let's go ahead and rate this.
On a scale from 0 to 10.
How worthy do you feel?
And we'll begin tapping.
And we tap on the karate part of the hand.
And tapping is gentle.
Even though there are parts of me that feel confident.
Places in my life where I stand tall.
There are also lingering feelings of unworthiness.
And I'm okay.
Then I have both of these.
And I can accept myself.
Even though there are parts of my life where I feel so confident.
I recognize there are.
Are other parts.
That I don't feel so confident.
That I might feel unworthy.
And I can accept this about myself.
And remind yourself to breathe.
Remind yourself to feel that surface holding you up.
And know that you are safe.
And let's begin our tapping.
And we tap on the inside of the eyebrow.
And when we think about unworthiness,
Sometimes it shows up as.
.
.
Not speaking up for myself.
And so we're tapping on the inside of the eyebrow.
And we are reminding ourselves of moments in our life where we didn't speak up.
Where we held our words in because we thought.
Maybe they weren't important enough to say out loud.
We felt that we would not be heard.
We felt that others would have a better way of saying it.
We're tapping on the inside of the eyebrows,
Thinking about moments in our life that we didn't speak up.
And move your tapping.
To the outside of the eyebrow.
And now we tap on those moments where we didn't set personal boundaries.
We let others step on our toes.
We let others choose how to use our time.
We didn't keep the boundaries that we said we would.
We're tapping on the outside of the eyebrows and we're thinking about not setting personal boundaries for ourselves.
And now we tap under the eye.
And we're tapping on those moments in our life where we hesitate it.
Where we procrastinate it.
This might be a sign that you're not confident in moving forward.
That you're doubting your abilities.
When we procrastinate,
When we hesitate.
This might be a sign that we don't feel worthy.
And so we're tapping under the eye.
And we're considering moments in our life.
Where we procrastinate.
Where we hold back.
We hesitate.
And we'll bring the tapping to under the nose on top of the lips.
And as we do so,
We're thinking about.
Times where we find ourselves people-pleasing.
Or dressing like others.
Eating like others.
Talking like others.
Trying to fit in.
Not feeling confident in our unique abilities,
Our uniqueness.
And this is okay,
Because it's part of our human nature to want to fit in.
But when we become someone else in order to fit in.
When we people-please.
We let go of a piece of ourself.
Maybe you don't feel worthy as you are.
And so you try to be someone else.
And we are tapping on the lips.
And we're thinking about places in our life.
That we are people-pleasing.
And we'll move the tapping to the chin.
And as we tap on the chin.
We think about places in our life where we question our ability.
And we cannot be good at everything.
And maybe you're questioning your ability to prepare a certain meal.
Or to stand up and speak,
Whatever it is.
But when it affects our worthiness.
That's where we need to shift this energy.
We always have the ability to be better,
To be stronger,
To learn a new skill,
To become more confident.
And so we tap on the chin and we're thinking about those places in our lives.
Where we think that our ability is connected to our worthiness.
I'm not good enough.
I should be better.
And we'll bring our tapping to the collarbone,
To the K2 space.
And as we tap here,
We recognize places in our life where we are neglecting self-care.
That we don't place ourselves first.
We don't see us on the schedule,
On the calendar.
We allow our sleep.
To go in order to meet other people's needs.
We choose not to eat healthy because we're rushing through our day to help someone else.
We are neglecting our own self-care.
And we're tapping on the collarbone and we're thinking about this place in our life.
And paying attention to any areas where we are neglecting ourselves.
Placing others first.
And now we bring the tapping to under the arm.
And we're looking at blue.
Sometimes when we don't feel worthy,
We begin to blame.
We blame ourselves,
We blame others,
We blame.
.
.
We blame society,
We blame,
We blame.
Because we don't want to look at this space anymore.
And so we look outside of ourselves and we place blame on everything else.
And it feels good for a little while,
But pretty soon it'll start to creep back in.
Because we're not facing it.
We're not working on development.
And so we're tapping under the arm and we're thinking about places in our lives.
Where we set blame.
On something else.
So that we don't have to grow,
So we don't have to look at something in our life.
Tapping under the arm.
And we come to the top of the head.
And we think about places in our life where you feel like you might be an imposter.
You worry that someone's going to figure it out.
That this is only a facade.
That you're standing tall,
Speaking up.
Inside your territory.
Inside it feels like you're faking it.
Or tapping on the top of the head.
Because we're looking at places in our life where we don't feel worthy and we feel like we might be an imposter in our own life.
Tapping on the top of the head.
Still knowing that we are safe,
That we are grounded and connected.
Is your only thought.
We're tapping on this idea that we feel like we are an imposter in our own life.
And we rest our hands.
And we take in a deep breath.
And allow yourself to sigh that breath out.
Softening the body.
And let's check in to see how are we feeling in this moment.
At the start of this tabbing,
I asked you to measure on a scale from 0 to 10.
Let's check in to see where we are now.
Maybe at the start you were feeling pretty confident.
You were feeling worthy.
I brought up all these areas of your life that might ring true.
Areas that now you wonder,
Do I have self worth?
There are all these areas where doubt might be creeping in.
And my intention was not to have you feel bad.
But just to spotlight areas of your life where negativity might be creeping in unrecognized.
And we want to pay attention to these places.
We want to shine light on these spaces.
That way we can take a look at them and we can begin to shift this energy.
And let's do that now.
Let's shift these beliefs.
And so we'll begin tapping again.
And we tap on the inside of the eyebrow.
And as we tap,
We're looking at what self-worth looks like.
And when we tap on the inside of the eyebrows,
I want you to think about you living life authentically.
You living life with integrity.
I live my life with authenticity.
I live with integrity.
And we're tapping on the inside of the eyebrows.
And now shift your tapping to outside the eyebrows.
And as we tap here.
We think about keeping promises to ourselves.
I keep my promises.
And this might look like keeping those boundaries safe and protected.
It might mean that you keep the promise that you have a healthy habit.
And even if everybody else is doing something different,
You stay true to your promise to yourself.
To eat healthy.
To move your body.
To go to bed on time.
You keep that promise.
And we'll move tapping to under the eye.
And we know that we connect with others in our life that value us.
When we have self-worth.
People around us also find us worthy.
We connect with people who value us.
And we'll bring the tapping to under the nose,
On top of the lips.
I have respect for myself.
I respect myself.
And that means we have positive talk.
We have compassion.
We speak highly of ourselves.
Either out loud.
.
.
Maybe to others,
Maybe inside our head,
That self-talk is with compassion.
And it's positive.
That's you.
Having respect for yourself.
I respect myself.
And we're still tapping.
And we're thinking about this idea of having respect.
I embrace my vulnerabilities.
And this means that,
Yes,
We make mistakes sometimes.
We're not always perfect.
But even in moments when we're not perfect,
We still value ourselves.
We still have Southwark.
I respect myself.
I embrace vulnerability.
I recognize that I don't have to be perfect to be worthy.
Oh,
I don't have to be perfect.
To be worthy.
And let's tap on the chin.
I live in alignment with my soul.
I live in alignment with my soul.
And bring the tapping to the chest.
And I recognize that there is a deep knowing within me.
That I am worthy.
Inside,
I recognize I am worthy.
I am worthy.
As we tap under the arm,
We also recognize that we are lovable.
I am lovable.
And I am necessary in this life.
True worthiness sees your value.
In who you are and what you have to offer.
And what you have to offer is important.
It is necessary in this life.
I am necessary.
And let's bring that tapping to the top of the head.
And we'll end with this idea that I am worthy.
I am worthy.
I am worthy of speaking up.
My words are worthy of being heard.
I am worthy of love.
I accept people in my life that love me and value me.
I am worthy of being seen.
Seen from my uniqueness and who I am.
I am worthy.
And as we tap on the top of the head and we share those words that I am worthy.
I want you to think of what comes to mind for you.
What areas did maybe I miss?
That stand out to you that you want to share right now in this moment.
Moments that maybe you were hiding,
Shrinking down.
You're ready to step up.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
And we'll rest our hands.
And as we rest our hands,
Take in a deep breath.
And release that breath out.
And we feel our body softening.
We feel our body connected either to the chair or to the earth.
And we are reminded that we are safe.
And let's do one more check-in on that scale from 0 to 10.
Where are you now?
When you ask yourself,
How worthy do I feel?
Where is that number?
And there is no right,
There is no wrong answer.
There's only information.
Information that says I need to come back and work on this area.
I need to pay more attention.
I need to listen to my words.
I need to keep my promises to myself.
Information on.
How worthy do you feel in this moment?
And I will share with you that this number that you are at will shift daily.
There will be times that you feel so worthy and other times it's like you took 10 steps back.
And that's why we use tapping to keep moving forward.
To help us come out of those moments where we.
.
.
Have self-doubts seeking in.
And we can share.
And take a moment.
To bring your awareness back to your body.
Take a moment to connect to your breath.
Connect to your heart.
And we'll end with that mantra.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
Until we meet again.
Namaste.
