Welcome to this guided meditation by Create the Calm.
Take a moment to settle in.
Find a position that supports both alertness and ease.
Allow your eyes to gently close,
Or soften your gaze if closing your eyes doesn't feel comfortable.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw relax.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And exhale with a sigh.
You're safe to pause here.
This is a space of gentleness,
Of honesty,
And of compassion for every part of you,
Especially the parts that are afraid.
Bring your attention to your body.
Notice where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the ground,
The chair,
The bed,
Wherever you are.
Let yourself be held.
You don't need to hold it all together right now.
Let gravity carry some of the weight.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
You don't need to change it,
Just notice it.
The inhale,
And the exhale,
A rhythm your body knows how to keep without asking permission from your mind.
Now gently bring to mind the decision you made,
The one that felt like a full body truth,
Even if your mind is still trying to figure it out.
You didn't think it,
You knew it.
You said no,
Or you stepped away,
Or you chose something that didn't make logical sense,
But felt deeply right.
Take a moment to honor that.
You honored yourself,
Even if no one else understood it.
Even if you barely understood it.
There was clarity.
And that clarity came before the fear.
Now bring your awareness to your mind.
The voice that's been asking you,
What did I just do?
That anxious swirl of thoughts,
Predictions,
And consequences.
Let's meet that voice with kindness,
Not judgment.
Say gently to the mind.
I know you're scared.
I know this feels risky.
You're not wrong for wanting safety,
But safety doesn't come from self-abandonment.
Safety comes from truth.
Go ahead and breathe into that.
Let your mind know,
You don't have to understand this yet.
It's okay that you're catching up.
I'm not angry at you.
I'm not rushing you.
But I am following something deeper now.
Even just a little.
It doesn't have to drive anymore.
It can rest.
Now shift your awareness from the mind to the center of your body.
Your gut.
Your heart.
Your core.
Feel the steadiness that lives there.
Not loud,
But undeniable.
This is where the decision came from.
This is where truth speaks.
Let yourself repeat,
Inwardly or aloud.
I trust myself.
Even when I don't understand yet,
I trust what I knew in that moment.
My truth is not an emergency.
My body is wise.
My know is sacred.
It's okay to choose what no longer fits.
It's okay to say no,
Even when the world expects yes.
I am not lost.
I am becoming.
Let each phrase settle.
Let your nervous system soften.
Let your energy return to center.
Now return to your breath.
Feel your body again.
Anchored.
Steady.
Feel the ground beneath you.
The breath within you.
The space around you.
You are not wrong.
You are not late.
You are not broken.
You are living a life that honors the truth as it arrives.
Not just the stories you've outgrown.
Take one more deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself grounded in this new reality.
You chose alignment.
That choice will hold you.
When you feel ready,
Begin to gently move your fingers,
Your toes.
Roll your shoulders.
And open your eyes.
Return.
You are here.
You are whole.
You are wise.
You are walking in truth.
