Welcome to a guided meditation brought to you by Create the Calm.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position and allow your body to be supported just as it is,
Without needing to adjust or improve anything right now.
If it feels safe,
Gently close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Begin by noticing your breath.
No need to change it,
Just notice the inhale and the exhale.
Let your breath be natural,
Easy and unforced.
And with each exhale,
Allow yourself to arrive a little more fully in this moment.
Now gently bring your awareness into your body.
Notice where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you.
Notice the weight of you being held and supported.
Become aware of any tension,
Places that might feel tight,
Guarded or fatigued.
And also notice any areas that feel neutral or even at ease.
There's no need to fix or change anything,
Just notice.
Your body has always been communicating with you through sensation,
Through energy,
Through subtle signals that may have been easy to miss or easy to override.
Right now,
We're simply creating space to listen.
You might place a gentle hand over your heart,
Your stomach or anywhere your body is asking for attention.
And just feel the warmth of your own touch,
The presence of yourself with yourself.
As you sit here,
Allow yourself to consider something with compassion.
There may have been times when you didn't listen.
Times when you pushed past what your body needed,
Ignored signals,
Silenced discomfort,
Or told yourself to keep going even when something inside of you was asking to stop.
Without judgment or criticism,
Just notice what comes up as you recognize that.
Now gently offer yourself these affirmations.
My body has always been trying to support me.
I did the best I could with what I knew at the time.
I released the need to carry guilt for what I didn't understand before.
Let them land in whatever way they can.
Even if part of you resists,
Even if you're not sure you fully believe them yet,
Just allow them to be present.
Your body was never your enemy.
Even when it felt inconvenient,
Uncomfortable,
Or out of sync with what you thought you should be able to do,
It was still communicating.
Still protecting,
And still trying to guide you.
Now continue gently affirming.
My body is on my side.
My body is worthy of my attention.
My body is safe for me to listen to.
My body is safe for me to breathe.
Bring your awareness back to your breath,
And notice the natural rhythm,
The quiet intelligence within it.
Your body knows how to breathe without you thinking about it.
It knows how to regulate,
Repair,
And respond.
There's a wisdom here that doesn't require effort.
If it feels right,
You might silently ask your body,
What do you want me to know?
There's no need to search for an answer.
Just notice what arises.
A sensation,
A feeling,
A word,
Or maybe just a sense.
And if nothing comes,
That's okay too.
Sometimes the first step is simply creating the space.
Now gently shift your focus forward.
Instead of looking back at what wasn't heard,
Begin to open to what's possible now.
This is where trust begins to rebuild,
Not through pressure,
But through presence.
Offer yourself these next affirmations.
I am learning to listen.
I'm open to my body's wisdom.
I'm willing to slow down and pay attention.
Listening to your body does not mean listening to yourself.
It doesn't have to be dramatic.
It can be subtle.
It might look like resting when you're tired,
Drinking water when you're thirsty,
Saying no when something feels off,
Or simply pausing long enough to check in.
With each small moment of listening,
Trust begins to grow.
Place a hand on your body again wherever feels right and close with these affirmations.
I trust myself to learn.
I trust my body to guide me.
We are on the same team.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and a soft releasing breath out.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
Remember,
You don't have to get this perfect.
You don't have to hear everything clearly right away.
This is a relationship,
And like any relationship,
It deepens with time,
Attention,
And care.
Gently begin to bring awareness back to the space around you.
Notice the sounds,
The air,
The surface beneath you.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Thank you for taking this time to reconnect with yourself.
