Hello and thank you so much for joining me for this meditation.
I invite you to lay down or if you prefer find a comfortable seat.
Take a breath in and take a breath out.
Just feel everything slowing down.
Taking any wiggles that you need to to allow your body to completely rest here.
And feel the weight of your body as it lays here.
Take a long breath in and as you exhale feel the weight of your body softening into the ground,
Letting go and resting.
Breathe in and exhale as you let go.
Imagine you're laying in the beautiful outdoors and above you you feel the soft glow of the early autumn sun.
The sun shines down on you so golden,
Soft and soothing.
You feel the sun's light at the crown of your head and it melts away any thoughts bringing ease to your mind.
The sunshine glow moves over your forehead,
Your eyes and your cheeks and softens your jaw.
You feel the golden glow drift toward your throat,
Releasing any tightness in the opening space for the breath.
The sunshine rests at your shoulders,
Melting your shoulders away from your ears,
Dissolving any heaviness.
The golden light moves down through your arm,
To your elbows,
Your wrists and the palms of your hands,
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
The glow expands into your chest and your heart space,
Filling you with a deep sense of peace.
It moves to your belly,
Softening your stomach and every breath carries that golden glow deeper,
Spreading calm through the centre of your body.
As you lay under this beautiful autumn sun,
You feel the light flowing through your hips,
Your thighs and your knees,
Down into your calves,
Ankles and all the way to your toes.
Feel your whole body here resting in the autumn glow.
Take a long and deep breath in,
Breathing in this glow into your body and exhale,
Feel your body shining,
Radiating and notice how it feels as you rest in this light,
This warm yet gentle light,
Soothing but strong.
And with every breath in,
Breathe in new beginnings,
New beginnings ready for autumn and the months that lie ahead.
And as you exhale,
Release what's no longer needed,
Just as the trees let go of their leaves,
You can too release,
Letting go of tension,
Busyness or anything that feels heavy.
Breathe in the beautiful glow of autumn,
Welcoming what's new,
Space for growth and exhale anything that doesn't serve you.
Inhale,
Soak up the beautiful golden light and the beautiful beginning of autumn.
Stay here,
Resting in this feeling,
Noticing what you feel and allow your body to soften with every breath,
Allow your body to completely let go.
Stay here for as long as it feels good for you,
Pause the recording.
And if you do have time to stay here for a little bit longer,
When you are ready,
Slowly begin to come back to your breath,
Feel the inhale,
The exhale,
The exhale,
The rise and the fall and deepening that breath.
And let's take a long deep calming breath in,
Breathing in the calm of this moment and exhale,
Let that calm wash all over you.
Take another deep breath,
Inhale,
Breathing deeply into the belly,
Breathe in that beautiful autumn glow of the sun and exhale,
Let that glow wash all over you,
Feel your body shining from the inside out and from head to toe.
