Welcome to your Morning Mastery Meditation Series.

Day 1,

Gratitude.

The focus of this meditation will be on cultivating a sense of gratitude for all the blessings in your life.

You will be guided to reflect on the things that you are grateful for and to feel the warmth and joy that comes from expressing gratitude.

So let's begin.

Start by finding a comfortable seated position,

Either on a cushion or a chair.

You might even want to lie down.

Just do what your body feels right for you at this time on this day.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Feel your body relax and release any tension.

Take another nice deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Allow your mind to let go of any thoughts or any worries.

One more nice long deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Let yourself sink deeper into relaxation.

Now bring to mind something in your life that you feel grateful for.

It can be anything.

A person,

A place,

A thing,

Or even a quality.

As you focus on this,

Allow yourself to feel the warmth and joy that comes with gratitude.

Imagine that feeling spreading throughout your body like a soft and gentle wave.

And now think of something else that you are grateful for.

And then something else.

Let these things come to mind one by one like little gifts that you are unwrapping.

And with each one,

Allow yourself to feel a sense of appreciation and thankfulness.

As you continue to think of things that you are grateful for,

Notice how your body feels.

Maybe you feel a smile spreading across your face or a lightness in your chest.

Maybe you feel a sense of connection to the world around you.

Whatever you're feeling,

Allow it to be there.

No judgments,

No analysis.

Take a few more deep breaths.

And as you exhale,

Imagine sending your gratitude out into the world like ripples on a pond.

Know that this feeling of gratitude is always available to you because it lives within you and that you can come back to it whenever you need to.

Now when you're ready,

Take one more deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Open your eyes and bring your attention back to the present moment.

Lift the corners of your mouth into a gentle smile.

And take a moment to appreciate yourself for taking this time to cultivate gratitude and kindness in your life.

Enjoy your day.
