A few minutes to calm your mind,
Release tension and reset your energy.
No matter what your day has been like,
This is your moment to breathe and begin again.
Allow your body to settle.
Feel the weight of your body,
Supported by the chair or the ground beneath you.
You don't need to hold anything right now.
Let the earth hold you.
If it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long gentle breath out through your nose.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your hands rest easily.
With each exhale,
Imagine tension melting away.
Like mist dissolving in morning light.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest.
The rhythm that's always been here for you.
As you breathe in,
Silently say to yourself,
Breathing in,
I calm my body.
As you breathe out,
Breathing out,
I release stress.
Try that for a few breaths.
Inhale,
Calm.
Exhale,
Release stress.
Now gently bring to mind one word that you'd like to invite in.
Perhaps peace,
Ease,
Or clarity.
As you breathe in,
Imagine drawing that quality into your heart.
As you breathe out,
Imagine sending it through your whole body.
Your breath becomes your reset.
Your presence becomes your strength.
Notice how you feel now.
A little softer.
A little steadier.
Stress may return,
But so can this calm.
You can reset at any moment with one breath,
One pause,
One gentle awareness.
Take one final deep breath in,
And let it go.
From the peace within me,
To the peace within you.
