Hello and welcome!

This is Carolyn Wallace.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

Let's begin with a soft inhale and an easy exhale,

Letting the body melt into the moment.

Allow the shoulders to fall,

The jaw to loosen,

The mind to settle.

As the breath flows,

You might imagine a beam of light resting in the chest.

A quiet warmth behind the heart,

A small opening,

Just enough.

And now bring to mind a joyful moment.

It might be a smile from someone you love,

Snuggling with a pet,

Stretching after a good night's sleep,

A walk in nature,

The aroma of something freshly baked.

Now think of your own joyful moment,

Long ago or recent.

A moment when the heart felt light and quietly delighted.

Hold that moment in the heart now and gently bring awareness to the body.

A deep breath in,

Feeling the chest expand with light.

A soft breath out,

Shoulders relaxing and releasing.

Maybe the corners of the mouth lift,

A gentle smile,

The body remembering how good it feels to soften.

You may sense a tiny spark,

A memory,

A comfort,

A presence,

Something in your life that brings steadiness or softness or relief.

There is no need to name it,

No need to hold it tightly.

Let it drift in,

The way morning light drifts through a window.

Soft,

Gentle,

Gentle,

Gracious.

Let it rest in the chest.

Let it glow quietly.

Let it be enough.

Another slow breath in,

Feeling that quiet goodness widen.

A breath out,

Allowing happiness and thanks to ripple through you.

Sometimes gratitude is not loud,

It's subtle.

A warmth around the heart,

A softness in the breath.

A quiet reminder that life still offers moments of ease.

Let that feeling stay with you now and for the rest of your day.

Subtle,

Warm,

Warm,

Present.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me today.

Until next time,

From the peace within me to the peace within you,

Namaste.

You
