Hello and welcome.

This is Carolyn Wallace.

This short meditation will gently guide you back to a sense of inner peace.

For the next five minutes or so,

Allow yourself to simply be.

There is nothing to do.

Nowhere to go.

Simply be.

Begin by taking a soft breath in and a slow,

Easy breath out.

Let the shoulders drop.

Let the face soften.

Notice what's on your mind,

What's in your heart,

Whatever is alive for you right now.

There's no need to resist or hold on to anything.

Simply notice and allow it to be.

Inner peace doesn't require silence.

It begins with allowing things to be just as they are.

Now bring your attention gently to the center of your chest.

Feel what's alive here right now.

You might sense warmth,

Space,

Or simply the rhythm of your breathing.

With each inhale,

Imagine inviting a little more ease into the body.

With each exhale,

Allow any tension you've been holding to loosen,

Even just a little.

Accept.

For these few minutes,

Let life hold you.

Notice the quiet presence beneath your thoughts,

The steady awareness that has always been here.

This is the place of inner peace,

Something that is always there for you to return to again and again,

Moment by moment.

Rest here for a few breaths.

Supported,

Safe,

And at ease.

When you're ready,

Gently bring awareness back to the room around you.

Now carry this sense of inner peace with you,

Knowing you can return to it at any time.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

From the peace within me,

To the peace within you.

Namaste.
