Welcome to this 6-minute Morning Compassion meditation practice.

Begin by finding a comfortable resting position.

Invite the eyes to close and take in a deep and luxurious inhale,

Imagining that inhale infused with positivity.

As the breath returns to an exhale,

Release any tension with the breath.

Imagine a warm golden light surrounding you,

Symbolizing compassion.

Feel its gentle energy embrace you.

Inhale deeply and absorb this warm and loving compassion into your physical body.

Now extend your thoughts to someone that you love.

Envision this golden light expanding to them,

Wrapping them in the same energy of kindness and compassion.

Inhale deeply and imagine connecting with them as they inhale deeply,

Sharing the warmth and sharing the energy of this compassion.

Broaden your focus to invite friends,

Acquaintances,

And colleagues into this beautiful soft light.

Imagine this compassion reaching them and connecting through understanding and empathy.

Breathe in and acknowledge your interconnectedness.

Expand your compassion even further,

Offering this beautiful light to strangers and to those in your life that you may find challenging.

Visualize this golden light embracing,

Dissolving barriers,

Promoting unity and understanding.

Bring your awareness back to yourself.

Dissolve into this golden light once more,

Reinforcing the love of self-compassion.

Accept and appreciate your own worth.

As you conclude your morning practice,

Take one last deep breath,

Carrying the warmth of compassion in your body and into your day.

Return into your space by allowing the eyes to flutter open and feel yourself ready to radiate kindness in your interactions and navigate your day with a compassionate heart.
