This meditation is created for children to help them end their day on a positive note. Throughout the meditation, the child is guided through three gentle reflection questions that support calmness, gratitude, and self-esteem. What has been good today? The child is encouraged to think about moments from the day that brought joy, fun, or comfort. What are you longing for and looking forward to? The child is invited to imagine something in the near or distant future that makes them feel excited, hopeful, or happy. What do you like about yourself? The meditation ends with the child focusing on their own strengths, qualities, and the things that make them special. Jessica from Boom In Bloom is talking in this meditation. We hope you like it. Welcome to this sleep meditation for children.

To end your day on a positive and peaceful note,

First lie down in your bed and make yourself as comfortable as you can.

Maybe move your pillow around so it feels just right.

And let your body become soft and still.

Now close your eyes gently and take a slow deep breath in and let it out slowly.

Feel your body relaxing more and more with every breath.

Take a slow deep breath in and let it out slowly.

Imagine now that you are standing at the edge of a beautiful forest.

The trees are tall and friendly and the air feels soft and warm.

You begin to walk along a small path,

Feeling safe and calm with every step you take.

After a while,

You see a gentle owl sitting on a low branch.

The owl looks at you with kind eyes.

Hello,

The owl says softly.

I'm here to help you think about the good moments from today.

Take a moment now to remember something that you have learned today.

Something that felt good today.

Maybe something that made you smile.

Something that was fun.

Something that made you feel happy inside.

Hold the feeling gently in your heart while the owl nods happily.

After thanking the owl,

You continue walking along the forest path.

Soon you reach a sunny clearing where the air feels bright and hopeful.

Here you are invited to think about something you are looking forward to.

It could be something happening tomorrow or next week or maybe a few months from now.

Maybe someone you are excited to play with or someone you are longing to see.

Imagine the feeling of excitement and warmth growing gently inside you.

When you're ready,

You walk on again.

The path takes you to a peaceful,

Quiet place surrounded by soft plants and glowing light.

Here you take a deep breath and think about the things you like about yourself.

Maybe you are kind.

Maybe you are brave.

Maybe you are creative,

Funny,

Helpful or thoughtful and so many other things.

Let those good things about you shine brightly in your mind and feel proud of who you are.

Now the forest begins to fade gently,

Becoming softer and softer like a dream.

Your body is calm,

But your mind is warm and happy and your heart feels full of love.

Take a deep breath in and slowly breath out.

And now I'm going to stop talking and you will hear music.

As you fall asleep,

Just lie quietly and listen to the music and think about all the beautiful things you have in your life.

People that you have in your life,

Things that happens in your life and all those fantastic things about being you.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You can drift off into a peaceful night's sleep and I wish you good night.
