Welcome to this mindfulness practice today.
I hope you find this to be a supportive moment of grounding and inner connection.
For this mindfulness journey today,
This is going to be an invitation to build and connect to a gentle sanctuary within yourself.
A visualisation practice of creating an inner harbour that you can return to,
Learning to tend to it with care and allowing its grounding to ripple out into the world,
Relationships and spaces around you.
I invite you to begin by just allowing your body,
Your heart,
Your mind to ground and settle in this moment.
Starting to find a comfortable position for yourself.
And really allowing yourself to ease deeply into the space that you are in.
In your own time,
I invite you to take a gentle inhale and exhale.
Feeling your energy coming back within you,
Back to your centre.
I invite you to feel yourself connected to life,
To nature.
The interconnectedness is all a part of you.
And maybe in this moment,
I invite you to consider if nature was to share a message with you right now.
What would it say?
What does life long to speak to you?
What does Mother Earth long for you to know?
How is it calling you?
Trying to connect.
And what does it wish to say?
In this moment,
Just starting to really feel into the surface and the ground beneath you.
Holding you steady And I invite you to start to feel any heaviness,
Any tension in your mind or your heart or your soul being gently released.
Offering it up,
Offering it up to the sky to be held.
No longer yours to carry.
Just this moment to ease into release.
Today we're connecting to the sanctuary within you,
A place to return to and an inner harbour of safety.
I invite you to bring your awareness to this present moment in your life.
And then gently inward to a space within you.
The space of your soul.
Imagine yourself stepping into a sanctuary within your soul.
A safe and peaceful space.
You're in our home.
Feel yourself connecting to this space in this moment.
This is a place within you that you carry.
Sometimes perhaps without even knowing it.
And I invite you just to observe with gentle curiosity.
This space,
The sense of this space.
If you were to curate this sanctuary for yourself.
Or explore this precious space within you.
What does this sanctuary of your soul look like?
Is it a room,
A garden,
A forest,
A seaside cove?
Something of your own creative imagination.
Or is it simply space?
And how does it feel?
What colours,
What textures,
What elements make you feel most at home here most at ease Just notice the grounding of the space,
The peace,
The quiet.
This is your inner harbour.
You're in a sanctuary,
A place that belongs entirely to you.
Remaining with your breathing.
I invite you to tenderly imagine yourself in a moment when life feels overwhelming.
When the world feels loud,
Demanding or heavy.
And I invite you to feel into that overwhelm,
That exhaustion,
That need to retreat.
And then feel yourself returning to your sanctuary.
What happens is you drop down within your soul as you step into your own inner sanctuary or ship.
How does your body respond?
How does your nervous system settle?
And I invite you to ask yourself.
What do you need this sanctuary to offer you when you're overwhelmed?
Feel how your inner sanctuary receives you,
Holds you,
Restores you.
And now ask yourself,
How can you connect to it?
How can you reach it?
How do you connect into this space when you need to do so?
What is the avenue that helps you to reach your inner centre?
Remaining connected and in flow with your breathing.
I invite you to consider how you can keep this sanctuary alive and supported.
What practices,
What virtuals,
What care,
Keep this inner home of yours tended.
Do you return to it regularly?
And take time to clear it of what doesn't belong.
Your inner sanctuary evolves as you evolve and it is a space you can grow and blossom alongside.
Consider what it is that your inner sanctuary needs from you to stay vibrant,
Grounded and connected.
And feel yourself committing to tending to this space.
Practice of coming home again and again.
I invite you now to notice something beautiful.
That as you tend to your sanctuary and return to it,
It radiates.
A light,
A warmth,
A peace,
An inner grounding that is distinctly yours.
Feel how this sanctuary doesn't simply stay contained within you.
But how it ripples out into how you show up in the world.
How you speak,
How you move,
How you hold others,
How you respond to your life.
And you've returned to your sanctuary with grounding you carry that grounding forward people feel your peace and life responds to your groundedness.
What does it feel like to move through and connect to the world in this way?
Imagine it for yourself.
Feel yourself settling into life.
Connecting to the world and others from this grounded sanctuary within you.
From this space that you always carry.
And hold deeply within.
How does life respond energetically?
What evolves for you.
Just sit with this for a moment.
I invite you now to ask yourself what this sanctuary of yours means to you.
What does it represent?
You will always have a place within you to return to.
And what does having this sanctuary mean for how you navigate your life?
What becomes possible when you know you always have an inner harbour to return to.
Feel the depth of this.
Not running away from life but having a grounded place from which you can navigate from.
May you build and tend to your inner sanctuary with devotion.
May you return to it whenever you need to come home.
May the peace of your sanctuary radiate out and ripple through your life.
And now from this place of sanctuary,
I invite you to send a wish out into the world.
And in your mind to make a wish for yourself and your own journey.
Take in a gentle inhale and exhale in your own time.
I invite you now to invite an energy of grounding into your being.
To begin to invite yourself back into this space,
This present moment.
Maybe moving or gently stretching your body and just feeling your awareness,
Your senses and your sensation back within this present moment.
Feel your aliveness coming back within you.
And waking back up to the space that is around you.
And when you're ready to feel yourself grounded in this present moment,
This present time.
And to navigate forward.
From this place of grounding and this sanctuary within you.
I wish you well.
You may be well.
