Welcome to our bilateral tapping meditation called Coming Home.
When you tap like this,
You're activating your brain's parasympathetic nervous system.
That is your rest and digest state.
It's that state that we get in where we feel okay.
And it's like we can put our armor down now and release that protection we've been holding.
This rhythm.
That back and forth.
Mimic something that's been stored in your body since before you had language.
It's the rhythm of being rocked.
And a heartbeat.
And the sway of being carried.
Your body remembers this.
It stored it before language existed.
And when we tap like this,
Or speaking directly to that memory.
You're also stimulating both hemispheres of the brain at once.
Left and right.
Working together in sync.
And it feels like a massage for your brain.
Letting your brain know that,
Hey,
We're co-regulating now.
This feels good.
So that's all we're doing today.
There's nothing we need to process or reframe.
There's no homework to do.
We're just coming back to ourselves.
So if you haven't started tapping with me already,
Go ahead.
Cross your arms over your chest and feel the position that feels good to hold right now.
As I investigate.
Right here feels like home to me.
And then we're simply going to tap.
Doesn't matter which side you started with.
In fact,
Try pressing in a little bit as well and feel the difference as you hold yourself closer.
You don't need to create tension.
And if going looser feels better,
Stick with that.
We just want to get in this nice,
Slow rhythm.
Now I'm going to say a few statements.
And you can repeat after me.
Or say them silently in your head.
Or simply tap along and listen.
And if it feels good to let your body sway gently.
You can do that as well.
I am here.
In my body.
And I am safe.
Right now.
I can hold.
Space for myself.
And I release.
What no longer serves me.
With love.
And appreciation.
For all that I have learned.
I remember.
Peace.
Is available.
To me now.
Peace.
Is like the blue sky.
Even when there are dark gray storm clouds in the sky.
We understand.
That the blue sky is always there.
And we know.
Those dark clouds will pass.
The blue sky is there.
Whole.
And unchanged.
Even when I can't feel it.
Peace is still there.
Still waiting for me.
It hasn't left me.
And just like the sky.
Doesn't have to fight the clouds.
I don't have to fight.
Whatever I'm feeling.
The clouds will soon pass.
And peace.
Just like the sky.
Will be there.
I call on Source.
God.
The Universe.
Whatever name feels like home to you.
And I know.
This.
Divine energy.
Is always with me.
And there's something else.
I want you to know.
You are not alone.
In fact,
You have never been alone.
You are connected.
Everything.
A piece of the puzzle.
A thread.
A thread in the fabric.
And you belong here.
Because you're part of the whole.
And here is the part I really love.
