Allow yourself to deeply relax and trust in your ability to develop this skill.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position with your spine straight but relaxed.
Rest your hands gently on your lap and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth like you're blowing through a straw.
Let's do this two more times.
Inhale deeply,
Allowing your body to relax,
And exhale like you're blowing through a straw,
Letting go of any tension or distraction.
One more time,
Inhale and exhale,
Feeling a wave of calm washing over you.
Now let your breathing return to a natural rhythm.
Feel yourself becoming more grounded and present in this moment.
Bring your awareness to the area between your eyebrows,
Your third eye chakra.
Notice a soft indigo light glowing in this area.
With each exhale,
Feel the energy in your third eye becoming stronger and more focused.
As the indigo light radiates,
Imagine it gently opening up your third eye,
Allowing you to perceive the subtle energies all around you.
Feel a sense of clarity and intuition awakening within you.
Now visualize yourself surrounded by a soft,
Radiant energy field,
Your aura.
It extends about two to three feet in all directions around your body,
Shimmering with light and colors.
Imagine yourself gazing at this energy field.
Shift your focus to your peripheral vision in your mind's eye.
This is where you'll begin to notice the subtle outlines of energy.
Observe the edges of your aura and notice the faint colors or vibrations that appear.
As you breathe,
Imagine the colors becoming clearer.
You might see soft blues,
Vibrant greens,
Warm yellows,
Or glowing whites.
Trust what comes to you without judgment.
Now bring to mind someone you know,
A friend,
Family member,
Or a loved one.
Imagine this person standing before you,
Surrounded by their aura.
See their energy field extending outward,
Shimmering with colors and light.
Focus on their aura's edges.
What colors do you notice?
How does their energy feel?
Allow yourself to observe without analyzing,
Simply taking in what is present.
As you continue to practice,
Imagine tuning in to the light and vibration of auras everywhere.
You are attuning to the subtleties of energy,
Becoming more aware of the way light,
Color,
And vibration interact around living beings.
Feel your third eye becoming even more activated,
A clear lens through which you perceive these energy fields.
Know that with practice,
Your ability to see and understand auras will deepen.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the rhythm of your breathing and the grounded connection of your body to the surface beneath you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently returning to the present moment.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying with you a sense of clarity,
Intuition,
And connection to the energy fields around you.
