My name is Bailey and I am a nurse practitioner turned Reiki master teacher and sound healer and I create distance Reiki healing sessions along with my sound healing frequency music to help people who are struggling with stress,
Anxiety,
Or overwhelm or who are perhaps on a physical healing journey.
In tonight's practice we will use your breath,
Awareness,
And Reiki to help the body settle in to a balanced state so it can feel completely supported by stillness.
Let's begin.
Take a few moments to get your space ready.
Just taking a few moments to get settled,
Get comfortable and ready to receive so that you can slip easily into deep sleep this evening.
And once you are ready,
Gently lie down in a position that feels truly comfortable.
Perhaps your arms are resting by your sides,
Your legs falling naturally,
Your eyes soft or closed.
Allow your whole body to soften into the earth as I begin sending you distance Reiki now.
Feel the surface beneath you,
Holding you fully.
There's nothing to do,
Nothing to hold up.
Feel your body begin to yield to gravity,
A slow unwinding,
A loosening.
Let the breath begin to slow.
Let the exhale lengthen.
And the space between breaths.
Gently breathe in deeply through the nose.
Breathe out slowly through the mouth.
Again,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Letting go.
And now return to a soft,
Natural breath.
Letting your breath breathe.
Let's begin by planting your senkalpa,
Your loving intention to support your rest.
A quiet truth whispered gently to your subconscious.
Perhaps you choose something simple,
Nurturing,
Like my body is balanced and at peace.
I welcome rest with ease.
I am safe as I sleep.
Repeat your senkalpa inwardly now three times.
Feel it settle into the body like a seed planted into fertile soil.
Letting it rest at the heart of your awareness.
Trusting that it is already true.
Bring your attention to the surface of your skin.
Notice where your body meets the air.
The gentle brush of fabric against your arms or legs.
The sensation of temperature around you.
Imagine your body slowly releasing heat,
Melting tension like soft wax softening under the moonlight,
Dissolving down,
Dripping away from the forehead,
The jaw,
The shoulders,
The belly,
To the soles of your feet.
With each exhale,
More tension releases,
More space opens inside,
More stillness arrives.
Let yourself be quiet now,
Through a rotation of awareness,
Touching each part of the body with gentle attention.
Right side of the body,
Little finger,
Wrist,
Forearm,
Shoulder,
Right chest,
Left side body,
Waist,
Heel,
Top of the foot,
Big toe,
Second,
Left side of the body,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Shoulder,
Side body,
Left side body,
Waist,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
Big toe,

Shoulders,
Shoulder blades,
Backs of the knees,
Heels,
Toes,
Space between the eyebrows,
Eyes,
Cheeks,
Jaw,
Fronts of the thighs,
Tops of the feet.
Now sense your entire body at once,
Held gently by,
Suspended in stillness.
Feel the quiet rhythm of your body,
Its natural intelligence,
Its capacity to heal and restore,
Regulating temperature,
Returning to balance.
Let the body be just as it is,
Let the breath be just as it is,
There's nothing to do,
The breath again,
Rising and falling like a gentle tide.
Each inhale draws you into the body,
Into stillness,
Let the breath carry the edges of the body,
There is nothing to hold,
Nowhere to go,
The space inside your body,
Spacious,
Open,
Feel the space around your body,
In a soft cocoon of peace.
Let yourself drift between the breaths,
Between thoughts,
Let yourself in the stillness,
The pause,
The sacred silence,
Fully immersed in rest,
The body seeking to fix,
Nothing to change,
Already resting,
Stay here,
Dissolve,
Let the stillness hold you,
You are supported.
