Hello and welcome.
My name is Bailey and I am a Nurse Practitioner turned Reiki Master Teacher,
Sound Healer,
And Yoga Teacher.
And I am so happy you are here with me today.
I help people who are navigating stress,
Anxiety,
Or overwhelm,
Or who are perhaps on a physical healing journey,
Find peace,
Balance,
And healing through sharing with them the powerful tools that I have learned on my own healing journey.
In our session today,
I am going to be guiding you through a Yoga Nidra practice,
As well as a full-body distance Reiki healing session,
Accompanied with my Sound Healing Frequency music,
To help you reset your nervous system and bring you deep inner peace and stillness.
So I invite you to please find a comfortable place to lie down,
Perhaps on your back,
With a pillow beneath your knees and a blanket over your body,
And just take some time to settle,
To feel supported,
To feel supported,
Letting your whole body melt down into the earth,
Feeling held by the surface beneath you,
So you can truly let go.
Now bring into your heart a sacred intention or affirmation that in the practice of Yoga Nidra is called your Sankalpa.
This is a statement in the present tense,
Saying it as though it's already true,
Something like I am grounded and safe,
Or peace flows through every cell of my being.
Let it arise from your inner truth,
And allow your Sankalpa to settle into your heart,
Repeating it silently three times,
Like you're planting a seed into your subconscious.
And now if you haven't already closed down your eyes,
I invite you to gently do so now,
And bring your awareness inwards,
Taking a deep inhale,
Breathing deeply into your lungs,
Letting your abdomen rise,
And exhaling all of the air out,
Settling a bit deeper,
Letting the body land as I begin to send you distance Reiki now.
And now I'm going to guide you through this gentle awareness practice,
So all you have to do is follow along with me,
Awareness to your right hand thumb,
Middle finger,
Pinky finger,
The palm of the right hand,
The back of the hand,
Wrist,
Shoulder,
Waist,
Sole of the right foot,
Heel of the right foot,
Feel the right side of your body,
Now shift your awareness to the left hand thumb,
Shoulder,
Top of the left foot,
Now feel the entire left side of your body,
And gently bring your awareness to your breath,
There's no need to change it,
Simply notice your breath,
And with every exhale,
Your body releases and relaxes even further,
Visualize your breath like a gentle wave,
A gentle wave washing over your body,
Soothing your nervous system,
Restoring balance,
With each breath you reset the rhythm of your entire being,
Awareness to rest in your heart center,
Imagine a soft glowing light there,
Like the warm light of a candle,
This light spreads through your chest,
Down your arms,
Into your belly and legs,
All the way to your fingertips and toes,
Let this gentle healing light soothe your nervous system,
Release old patterns that are no longer serving you,
And spirit,
You are safe,
And now begin to draw your awareness gently back to the room around you,
Notice the sounds around you,
The feeling of air on your skin,
And begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently waking up the body and the nervous system,
Stretching in any way that feels good to you,
Gently roll to one side,
And slowly push yourself up to seated,
Bringing this sense of deep peace that we have just created with you into the rest of your day,
And know that you can return to this inner sanctuary anytime you need to rest or reset or connect with your inner light.
