When your freedom of expression or action is encouraged, one may gradually become struck by low self-esteem. What is the solution you may ask? First engage in something you are passionate about. Spend time pursuing what matters to you. The second method is even More Powerful. Doing self-affirmative Meditation. Meditate on it before going to bed every night.

My surrender to the oneness which binds us all.

Before we commence today's affirmative meditation practice,

A seed for your soul.

Your real worth is not how others see you,

But how you see yourself.

Your real worth is how you see yourself matters a great deal more than how others see you because your happiness and peace is dependent on your own honest view about you.

With this thought,

Arrive in this moment and find a comfortable position to do this meditation practice.

You may close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Acknowledging your body as an instrument of life,

Of living,

Of experience.

It is not a cage for your soul but a potent vehicle of knowledge and insight.

All acquisition of knowledge is through the senses.

There will be no senses if not for the body.

So be friended,

Treated with care and love yourself.

Gently do a body scan,

Noticing any physical,

Emotional or mental sensations in your body.

Without any judgements,

Let go of any belief you're holding on to tightly,

Not serving you in the present to be released.

Now visualize a lotus flower and see it blossoming with each petal symbolizing your self-esteem aspects.

Visualize this beautiful lotus flower in the center of your chest and if your mind begins to wander,

Listen mindfully by focusing on each word of the self-esteem affirmation at a time.

Notice how the mindful listening empowers you with a choice to switch from habitual thinking to allow yourself time to just be.

When you feel ready,

Whisper in words,

Love just as I am.

I deserve love,

Respect and kindness.

My worth is not defined by others opinions,

I trust myself to make good decisions.

I am capable of learning and growing every single day.

I can handle challenges with strength and resilience.

I give myself permission to make mistakes and grow from them.

I speak to myself with kindness and patience.

I honor my needs and respect my boundaries.

My body deserves love and respect.

I embrace who I am becoming.

I deserve to take up space in this world.

I'm proud of myself for how far I've come.

I choose thoughts that support my well-being.

I bring value to every space I enter.
