Welcome to this short meditation to soften self-judgment and to invite compassion and kindness.

Close your eyes.

Take a slow deep breath in and out with a sigh.

Place one or both hands over your heart.

Feel its warmth.

Feel your own presence.

You've been trying.

You've been carrying a lot and still you're here.

You don't have to be perfect to be worthy.

You don't have to have it all figured out.

Right now offer yourself the kindness you'd give a friend.

Gentle,

Understanding,

Patient.

You're doing the best that you can and that is enough.

Take one more slow breath in.

Exhale with a sigh and remember you're worthy of your own kindness and compassion.
