Welcome to Let Peace Flow.
Wherever you are right now,
Just allow yourself these next few minutes to simply arise.
Let's just begin here.
So,
Allow your body to become more comfortable,
Finding your comfy space warm and cozy.
Just let your shoulders soften,
Your hands rest,
And your face just feel it relaxing.
Take a slow,
Easy breath in through your nose.
And breathe out gently.
Breathing in.
This time as you breathe out,
Just release any stress or tightness,
Tension.
Just letting go.
Can gently close your eyes and just feel your body soften into this moment.
So peace can mean so many things.
Peace between people.
Peace in our homes.
Peace in the world.
Peace after uncertainty or change.
And sometimes we think that peace is something that will arrive when everything else has been resolved,
When the noise stops,
When life becomes easier.
But there is another kind of peace and that is a much quieter peace.
It's the peace that doesn't depend entirely upon what is happening around you.
And that is the peace within.
So rather than trying to find it.
Just simply become curious about it.
Where do you feel peace lives in you?
Maybe you notice it in your breath.
Gentle rhythm that has been moving through you all day.
Breathing in and just breathing out.
Let your attention rest there for a moment on your breath.
And just simply feel it.
And as you breathe,
Just imagine that each breath is creating a little more space inside you.
It's not an empty space,
But a spaciousness one.
It's a little less crowded,
A little less hurried,
A little more room to simply be.
Breathe in space.
And breathe out softly.
Breathe in,
Feel the spaciousness,
Chest rising.
And breathing out.
Feeling your body soften.
Releasing,
Letting go.
And again,
Breathe in that spaciousness.
And breathe out softening.
So maybe peace is not the absence of every thought.
It's not really the absence of sadness,
Uncertainty or frustration,
But maybe peace can just sit quietly alongside all of those things,
Like still water beneath the movement of the surface.
So the surface may ripple.
The wind may move across it.
Light and shadow may come and go.
And yet beneath that movement.
There is depth.
There is stillness.
There is something steady.
So just see if you can sense a little of that steadiness now.
Maybe somewhere around the center of your chest.
Or you might feel it deep within your belly.
Just notice it as a feeling rather than a particular place.
There's no right way to experience it,
Just notice.
And if you find even the smallest sense of ease.
Of that peace within.
Just stay with it.
Now imagine that feeling beginning to move,
Very gently,
Like a warm current of water or soft light that is traveling through you.
And just let this feeling of peace flow across your chest,
Through your shoulders,
Down through your arms,
Into your hands and your fingertips.
Let it flow through your back.
Let it flow through your belly,
Your hips,
Down through your legs,
Into your feet and toes.
And just let it flow all the way back upwards too.
Back up through your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your back.
Your ribs and chest,
Your hands and arms,
All the way through your throat,
Softening your jaw,
The muscles around your eyes,
Your forehead.
Just allow this feeling to envelop you.
And now with every easy breath.
You are creating a little more room for peace.
Breathe in.
.
.
And receive.
And breathe out and let the peace flow in.
Again,
Breathing in.
Receiving the breath.
And breathing out letting peace flow.
Wonderful.
And this is where something really begins to change.
Because when we get in touch with that steadiness within ourselves even briefly.
We can meet the world from a different place.
And that means that we can respond rather than react.
We may notice what we need.
We can speak a little more gently.
And we may feel less pulled by every thought or every demand upon us.
The world around us may not have changed,
But our relationship with this very moment can.
So just carry this feeling with you beyond these few minutes.
Carry it into a conversation,
Into your work,
Your home.
Into a walk beneath the trees.
Into the quiet before sleep.
Peace does not have to stay here,
Just let it move,
Let it flow with you.
Yes,
Just let it flow into those ordinary places of your beautiful life.
And then maybe even a little further.
So just imagine the peace that you can cultivate within yourself.
Touching the way you meet other people.
And this is simply because the way we move through life touches others too.
A calmer word.
A patient response.
A moment of kindness.
A willingness to listen.
A softer presence.
Small ripples moving outward.
And maybe this is one of the quiet ways that peace begins.
It's within one person,
Each of us.
It's one breath.
One moment.
And then another.
So take a slightly deeper breath now.
Feel the breath move through your whole body.
And then just slowly exhale.
Good.
I just notice how you feel.
Feeling deeply peaceful,
A little softer.
Sometimes peace doesn't always arrive as a great wave of calm.
Sometimes it is barely a whisper.
A small inner place where you remember,
I can return to the peace within.
So breathe in peace.
A gentle exhale.
Breathe in calm.
A gentle exhale.
Breathe in stillness.
And a gentle exhale.
And just feel into your peace.
Into your experience.
Your experience right now.
So move back into your day now but take this with you.
You do not have to wait for the whole world around you to become quiet.
Before you allow yourself this moment of peace.
And remember that you can find it in one breath.
One pause.
One glimpse of the beautiful blue sky.
One tree moving in the breeze.
One hand resting over your heart.
And whenever you find your peace within,
Just let it flow through you,
Around you and gently into whatever comes next.
So take an easy breath in.
And just breathe out slowly with a soft sigh.
May you find your peace within you.
May you carry it gently.
And may you let it flow.
Within you and all around you.
Your peace.
So thank you so much for sharing these few moments with me.
Until the next time,
Namaste my friends.
