Today let's take a few moments to set a positive tone for your day during this busy holiday season.

Find a comfortable position,

Maybe you're still in bed or you'd like to sit up.

Gently close your eyes,

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Feeling your lungs fill with fresh energy.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension or stress from the night.

Now let's do that again.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Allowing your body to settle in this present moment.

As we embark on the day,

Let's cultivate a sense of gratitude for ourselves and those around us.

Take a moment to reflect on something you're grateful for right now.

It could be a person,

A moment,

Or simply the gift of a new day.

Your body.

Feel the warmth and comfort of your bed or chair.

Notice any points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this space.

During the holiday season,

It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle.

Take a deep breath with me and remind yourself it is okay to slow down.

Your well-being matters.

Repeat after me in your mind or out loud,

I am deserving of peace and joy.

Now let's focus on the breath.

Inhale,

Allowing the air to fill your lungs,

And exhale,

Letting go of any lingering stress.

You are in control of your breath,

And by extension,

You are in control of your peace.

As we continue,

Think about the loved ones in your life.

Visualize the connections that bring you joy.

Picture their faces and the positive energy they bring.

In this moment,

Affirm to yourself,

I am surrounded by love,

And I am a source of love for others.

With each breath,

Feel a sense of calm washing over you.

Allow this calmness to stay with you as you open your eyes and face the day.

Remember that you have the power to choose your mindset and make space for positivity.
