Thanks for being here. Can I ask you a question? Have you ever found yourself standing between two choices? Wondering, What if I choose the wrong one? Perhaps you were choosing subjects at school. Thinking about college. A career or a relationship. Or simply wondering which direction life is tempting or encouraging you to explore. Sometimes. The decision itself isn't what feels difficult. It's believing that one choice may decide the rest. Of your whole life. That if you choose a particular direction or path, Others will disappear forever. That other opportunities may simply pass you by. And perhaps that feels somewhat frightening. Unsettling. You start by imagining, Comparing different futures. Ones that hopefully will be successful. Another that feels uncertain but thrilling. One that looks safe. Now that feels challenging. The mind then tries to compare or imagine those futures that have never been personally lived. And somehow mind expects itself to know. Which one will bring satisfaction. Happiness. Fulfillment or success. But can it? Can mind, Can anyone really know what tomorrow will bring? What is to come. Or how one conversation. One mating. One opportunity. Or one unexpected moment. May change all your plans. Perhaps life has never unfolded through certainty. Perhaps it unfolds through living and experiencing it. Moment. By a moment. One experience opening into another. One discovery leading to the next. Sometimes what first appeared to be the wrong direction. Later becomes the very experience that helped you see more clearly. To what opens into a promising future. And sometimes the path we were certain about. Turns out to teach us something. Completely unexpected. Something we could never have imagined. Any other way.
