So welcome everyone to this guided meditation.

Today we will embark upon a profound journey of self-forgiveness.

Now we'll use shamanism as a tool,

As a modality,

As a medium for this exercise today.

Now shamanism in very simple terms is an ancient spiritual practice that involves connecting with the spirit world to gain insight,

Healing and guidance.

And at times in our lives we hold on to guilt,

Regret,

Judgment and other feelings and emotions that don't align with us,

That weigh us down and prevent us from moving forward.

Now these feelings can create barriers to our happiness,

To our growth and to our inner peace.

Now it is very essential that we recognize that we are all humans and making mistakes is part of our journey.

And forgiving ourselves,

Truly forgiving ourselves is a crucial step in healing and personal growth.

Now any practice of self-forgiveness allows us to release the heavy burdens of the past and really open ourselves up to new possibilities.

It involves surrendering our regrets and asking for forgiveness not only from ourselves but also from the universe or a higher power or God or whatever your belief system is.

Now in this meditation we'll call upon the guidance of our spirit animals ancestors and elements of nature to support us in this journey.

We'll create a sacred space where we can safely release our burdens,

Embrace self-forgiveness and invite new beginnings into our lives.

Now wherever you are,

Allow yourself just to settle into a comfortable position,

Sitting up,

Lying down.

If there is any other position that's comfortable to you,

Let your body find that now.

Now as we begin by finding a quiet comfortable place,

You can sit or lie down for the next few minutes without any distractions.

I'll now encourage you to gently close your eyes and just start taking deep,

Slow breaths,

Whatever your body allows.

So you'll inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Now try and bring the breath down all the way to your stomach.

So we inhale deeply,

All the way down and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

And with your eyes closed in this comfortable position,

Just continue to take a few more breaths.

Settle into your space,

Allowing your body to relax with each breath in and releasing any tension or stress on each breath out.

Every breath in is life force,

Prana,

Light.

And every breath out is resistance,

Tension,

Worries,

Unaligned thoughts leaving my system.

Now,

As I bring my awareness to my body and to the present moment,

I'm going to now start feeling the surface beneath me supporting my body.

Now the floor,

The chair,

The yoga mat or wherever else I may be,

I now feel my body being held,

My body being supported.

And in this process,

My body starts to become a little bit heavy as I fall deeper into this relaxation.

Now to ground myself in this position,

I can now also imagine roots of light growing down from my body into the earth.

Now this begins to ground me and provides a sense of stability and security.

The roots that are coming out from the back of my body are going deep into earth,

Anchoring me firmly.

And this is the land,

Prana,

Earth telling me that I am safe and supported here and now.

I am safe and supported here and now.

I am safe,

I am supported here and now.

My mental noise now begins to slow down.

My body starts to become heavy.

And I now take my attention to my heart center or the center of my chest.

And I set my intention for this journey.

It is my intention today to release anything from the past that I may be carrying,

I may be holding on to.

Any events,

Situations,

Memories,

Thoughts in my own life that I need to forgive myself and anything else that needs to come in today.

I ask for this work to happen in a way that aligns with my highest good.

And with this intention,

As we are heard,

As we are supported,

As we are safe,

I am going to now use visualization and imagine that I am now standing in front of a beautiful landscape.

Now anything that comes to you starting this moment is right for you.

You find yourself in a forest,

That's where you are meant to be.

If it's another place,

If it's a beach,

If it's a water body,

If it's another place you feel safe with,

Just go with that.

Now my words are just pointers and universe,

Source,

Spirit is directing this healing for you,

So you trust.

Now allowing myself to experience this,

I now imagine myself standing in front of this beautiful landscape,

This beautiful ancient forest.

Give yourself time to feel,

To sense the experience around you.

Now the air is fresh.

I can smell the earth.

Then there is the gentle sound of the leaves.

Then maybe there is also flowing water.

Let the vision,

Let the sounds,

Let the feelings come to you.

Now feeling your feet,

Feeling the ground as you walk in this forest.

Now this is just you feeling this deep connection to nature,

To life and to all living beings that we experience,

That we encounter.

And if there is nothing that you can see in your vision,

That is absolutely fine.

Just go with how you feel.

Now the guidance will come to you in a way that's right for you.

Just trust this experience without trying too hard allowing what needs to come in.

Now in this forest,

As I've taken in the surroundings,

As I feel deeply collected to nature and all living beings around me,

I'm now going to call upon support and resources from the spirit world.

So we now call upon our spirit guides,

Ancestors,

Spirit animals and any and all beings of light and only light that want to work with me today.

I ask for you to come in now and show me your presence in a way that I can clearly see that you are here.

Now just observe,

Sense,

See the changes,

The feelings,

The knowings that you have as you've called upon for support.

Now feel this presence around you.

Feel their presence offering you protection,

Wisdom and guidance.

Once again I feel this presence surrounding me now and I feel the protection,

Wisdom and guidance that's being given to me.

Now you are not alone on this journey and your guides are here to support you and to help you heal.

Now some of you may be able to clearly pick up,

See,

Sense or intuitively know who's coming to help you and for others you may just feel more relaxed,

Safer.

So just go with whatever comes up for you.

That's what your soul needs.

I trust and I allow,

I trust and I allow,

I trust and I allow.

Now falling deeper into my safety as I stand into this ancient forest as I'm now supported by my spirit guides,

My spirit animals,

My ancestors and beings of light.

I now see in front of me there is a gentle light that appears and it can be any colour.

I see this light in the distance and start walking now towards the light,

Start walking towards the light,

Start walking towards the light.

Now follow this divine light and see where it's leading you in the forest.

Every step that you take you feel more and more and more relaxed.

Now as I follow the light a little bit more now I find myself now standing in front of this beautiful glowing fire.

Now this divine light has led me to this place in the forest where all I can see in front of me is fire.

Now allow yourself to take a step closer to this fire.

Only if your body allows,

Only if you feel safe.

Now as I approach this fire I feel its warmth,

I feel its energy.

Now for the next phase we are just going to sit by this fire and this fire is going to show me now any feelings of guilt,

Regret,

Self-judgment that I may be holding on to and if there is anything else that shows up now,

The fire is inviting me to let go of that.

Whatever I see,

Sense,

Imagine,

Visualize,

Pick up on now sitting in front of this sacred fire now spirit is encouraging me that I no longer need this.

Just allow yourself now to watch the fire and let these feelings come up.

Now these may come up as memories,

Faces,

Sensations in your body,

Colors,

Symbols or maybe it's just a knowing that something is coming up.

Allow the process to unfold.

And as I allow myself to feel some of these emotions probably which were hiding or buried in my subconscious mind some of the stuff that I did not want to face or I didn't feel safe enough to face before because I am sitting in front of this sacred fire,

I allow all this to come up now.

All I have to do now is to breathe.

Now I take deep breaths here.

I take deep breaths here and I allow myself to fully feel these emotions.

And now when I think life has shown me what I'm holding on to life has shown me areas where I need to forgive myself,

Forgive others guilt,

Regret,

Judgment,

Anything else that may have shown up I'm now going to imagine that all these feelings that may have come up today and anything else that I could not consciously pick up on all of them are now in this box.

In this box that I'm holding in my hands.

As I sit by this sacred fire,

In the energy of this ceremony,

This ritual I'm now holding this box.

It has all these emotions that I don't need.

Now I'm going to give myself time and only when I feel ready only when I feel guided to maybe I want to toss this box into the fire.

Now if you don't feel ready to do it today you're welcome to just sit with the box and come back to this again.

And if you think you're being guided to put these down now take the leap and give this box to the fire.

And as I put this box in I now see flames.

The fire becomes stronger and stronger and stronger.

Starts to take anything and everything that I don't need and that I've given permission myself to let go.

And these flames transform my pain into light and warmth.

Now as I sit,

I'm also going to notice the kind of physical sensations that are coming up in me.

Now this may be a feeling of relief or I may still be letting go of some of those old heavy emotions.

Now whatever it is that's coming up for me soul,

Spirit and this fire is directing the process.

So I'm just going to watch the flames transform everything into light and warmth.

Now you can say these words to yourself in your mind or out loud.

I now forgive myself.

I forgive myself for carrying this for so long.

I release all feelings of guilt and regret.

I am worthy of love and compassion.

And over the next few seconds feel the weight of self-judgment lift from your shoulders.

And as this happens I may feel a sense of peace,

Calm and forgiveness.

Allowing myself to feel that.

Allowing myself to feel that.

And remember this process will continue for the next few hours,

Days,

Weeks maybe more,

Whatever you need for your journey.

And you can go back to this fire at any point.

To do this again or just to sit and watch and feel this light and warmth as the process unfolds.

Now as the fire takes away whatever I don't need I am now going to visualize myself standing up and then I start walking away from the fire.

Now the same light in the forest that guided me to this fire is now showing me the way back.

All I need to do is follow the light.

It knows where home is.

Now walking away feeling lighter,

Feeling brighter,

Feeling more at peace just follow,

Follow,

Follow,

Follow,

Follow the light,

Follow the light,

Follow the light,

Follow the light and no matter what the surroundings are that are showing up I am just being led out.

Back,

Back,

Back to where I came from.

And in front of me right now is this bubble of light,

This golden bubble of light.

Warm,

Loving and inviting golden bubble of light is in front of me now.

Now before I leave,

Before I leave the spirit world I am just going to take a moment now to make this intention that whatever I put in the fire today the transformation,

The integration will continue,

Will happen in divine timing and I will be guided back to the fire whenever I need to do this again or if I need to go back again.

Now saying gratitude,

Thanking the universe,

Thanking the fire,

Thanking the spirit world for this wonderful healing,

For this wonderful transformative journey I now take a step and allow myself to enter this golden bubble of light.

Now this bubble of light starts to bring me down,

Down,

Down,

Down,

Down,

Down.

Now I am at the top of my head,

I am at my forehead my nose,

My lips,

My throat,

My shoulders,

My arms,

My hands,

Centre of my chest or my heart my stomach,

My legs,

My knees,

My calf and I am back into my body,

I am back into my body,

I am back into my body Slowly,

Gently,

As I breathe now,

I can wiggle my fingers I can wiggle my toes I am feeling lighter,

Brighter,

Different I will take my attention to the back of my eyes and whenever I feel ready I can open my eyes and bring myself back.

Now remember you are on this journey and it's okay to take one step at a time Now each day is a new opportunity to grow,

Learn and to embrace self-forgiveness Now I am going to carry this sense of peace with me as I move through the day or the night I am safe,

I am loved and I am doing my absolute best and so is everybody else Thank you everyone and Namaste
