Welcome.
Let's settle in by closing the eyes and arranging your body however feels good to you.
You're welcome to sit or lie down.
Do whatever you need to get comfortable.
As you settle,
Acknowledge that whatever came before and whatever is coming next is not here now.
In this moment,
You're settling your body into a comfortable position.
You're resting your eyes and you're taking a break from all of the busyness.
Minds think so likely thoughts will come up,
And let's just let that be.
Imagine it as background noise,
Just the natural unfolding of the mind.
Begin to feel into your body.
Feel into your shoulders,
Your belly,
Down into your hips and legs.
Feeling supported,
Noticing the surface you're resting on is holding you,
And seeing if just for a moment you can allow the body to relax into it.
It may feel good to take a deep breath in as you do this,
Breathing in fully and completely filling yourself up.
Then as you exhale,
Imagine the body softening.
Maybe try that a few times at your own pace,
Breathing in,
And then imagining the body relaxing and releasing on the exhale.
Noticing as you do that,
If there's a particular place in the body that's calling your attention.
Maybe it's restricted or tight,
Maybe it's a little sore,
Maybe it's something else like an emotion.
Just kind of check in,
And if there's a particular place calling your attention,
Allow yourself to focus in,
And just acknowledge it.
Get a little curious,
What does it feel like?
What feels true about it?
Meeting back together with the whole physical body,
Noticing what it's like to just sit or maybe lay and be present,
Feeling your body,
Feeling the support beneath you.
Maybe having sort of random thoughts float through,
And then having different physical sensations pull your attention.
Letting everything be as it is will bring the attention back to the breath.
In your own time,
Take one more big inhale,
Filling up.
Take a little pause at the top,
And then exhale,
Sigh it out,
Release.
Thank yourself for taking a moment to pause.
Slowly blink the eyes open,
Take any movements you might need,
And take good care of yourself.
Thank you.
Namaste.
