Hopefully,

You're finding a comfortable seat.

You can lay down.

You can sit up.

If it feels okay,

Allow the eyes to close.

Let's take a couple deep breaths in to just release anything that has come before.

Let's start with an inhale,

Breathing in,

And then sigh it out.

Again,

Breathe in deeply and fully,

Fill yourself up,

And then release it out.

Feel into your physical body.

Where is there tension?

Is it in your neck or shoulders?

Are you clenching in your belly?

What about your jaw?

Take a moment and just feel throughout your body.

Maybe wiggle a little.

Notice where the tension lies and take whatever your body naturally needs.

When that feels complete,

Bring your attention to the places where your body is touching the surface you're sitting or resting on,

Noticing those points of contact.

Notice any sounds that might be present.

You don't have to go looking for them,

Just notice.

Notice the breath moving in and out of your nose.

It might be very subtle,

But try and tune in to your nostrils and see if you can feel the air as you breathe in and feel it as it comes out.

Now I'd like to invite you to say something positive to yourself.

I've got this.

I'll move forward one step at a time.

Just a little encouragement.

What do you need to hear?

Repeat it a few times inside your head or say it out loud.

And then as we close,

Let's do one more big breath in and a sigh out together.

Starting with the inhale,

Breathing in.

And sigh it out.

Thank you for taking this pause with me.

May you move through the rest of your day with just a little more presence.

Be well.
