Chandra is the energy of the divine connection we have with the moon. As we connect with the sacred moonlight, we are gifted with the blessing of being able to see in the dark. The night, the darkness is an important time in which to explore those things which are hidden from us. Sing with me as we celebrate the glow of moonlight washing into our lives revealing the beauty of our true selves to the world. OM Chandraya Namah Adi Shakti OM Shanti OM Adi Shakti OM Shanti OM

Thank you so much for joining me today as we prepare to invoke the energy of the Moon through our mantra practice today.

We ask to be guided by this gentle light through times where we may feel surrounded by darkness.

The Moon illuminates the space around us,

Reminding us that we are not alone.

I'll have you begin to connect with your breath,

Breathing in deeply.

And exhaling fully.

Starting to feel the Earth beneath you,

The presence of Mother Earth gathering you up in her arms and holding you in this sacred space.

And with each breath that you take in,

You breathe in the energy and the groundedness of Mother Earth.

Knowing that you are a tree reaching up into the night sky.

And now you begin to feel the moonlight overhead,

Gently touching all of your branches and leaves.

The energy of the moonlight moving through the top of your head,

Opening your crown and bringing in that gentle moonlight to soothe you,

To guide you.

And as the moonlight pours into you,

It lights up your whole insides and you begin to shine brightly with this moonlight all around you.

With this connection with Mother Earth and the moon overhead,

I'll have you now listen to the words that we will be singing together for this mantra.

Om Chandraya Namaha.

Thank you moon for your presence.

Adi Shakti.

Fill me with your power and your light.

Om Shanti Om.

Bring peace to me within.

Adi Shakti and power that I may see through this darkness.

Om Shanti Om.

And that I might find presence in this moment with the moon.

I invite you now to sing this mantra with me,

Igniting that moonlight inside of you and raising it up with your voice and carrying that light from within out into the world that can be also a light for those around you.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

And one more deep breath in and exhale.

Join me now in singing this moon mantra.

Thank you to Chandraya,

Our moon goddess,

For gifting us with her light in the darkness.

May your path always be surrounded by the soft moonlight of Chandraya.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

We'll close this time together with a poem by Mary Oliver.

I am thinking of sitting out on the sand to watch the moon rise.

It's full tonight.

I go and the moon rises so beautiful it makes me shudder.

Makes me think about time and space.

Makes me take measure of myself.

One iota pondering heaven.

I think how grateful I am for the moon's perfect beauty.

And also,

Oh how rich it is to love the world.

Thank you so much for joining me for our moon mantra practice.

May the blessings of moonlight continue to light your path and help you shine in the darkness so that you know where you're going wherever you are.

Have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
