Let's take a moment to get settled into a comfortable position.
On the floor or on a chair,
Just be sure to sit in a way that your spine can be long and upright.
Try to eliminate all distractions.
As we close our eyes,
Breathing in slowly through the nose and exhaling through the mouth,
Taking this moment to slow down,
To relax into this calm and nurturing space.
Continue to breathe at a gentle and comfortable rate,
Whatever feels natural to you.
Coming back to our breath every time we get distracted by our thoughts,
And that will happen.
Accepting that those thoughts are just like clouds floating in,
We recognize them and let them go,
Seeing them dissolve away.
Bringing our attention to the stillness,
The harmony and peace in this moment.
Appreciating ourselves for taking this moment to look within,
To heal and to recharge.
Knowing that there are many things in life that we cannot control,
Let us find peace in the natural and ever-changing experience that is our life.
Finding peace in this moment means letting go of the regrets of the past,
As those memories and thoughts no longer serve you.
You are at peace with the lessons learned.
Letting go of anxiety and fear of the future.
Letting go of expectations and outcomes.
Understanding that the only moment that truly exists is right now.
You are present with the person you are in this moment right now.
Understanding that finding inner peace is to be here now,
In each moment.
We can come back to this space anytime we choose.
Amongst times of overwhelming excitement or distractions and chaos,
We can bring ourselves into harmony and peace by slowing down and focusing on our breath,
Being patient and adaptable to the wonder and awe of this ever-changing and beautiful existence.
Living our lives in a mindful and meaningful way naturally brings upon a feeling of unity,
Love and allows that positive energy,
Frequency and vibration to radiate outward.
As we bring our attention back to the space,
Gently moving our fingers and toes,
Slowly opening the eyes,
Entering back into this space,
Becoming familiar with our surroundings,
Bringing our hands to our chest in the prayer position,
Sealing this meditation with respect,
Love and light.
