Welcome.
Our bodies work hard to serve us,
To carry us,
To house us in our journey of life.
And yet I notice I am so often unaware of my body,
Unaware of its voice,
And dismissive of its concerns as it calls out to me.
Sometimes we are so busy and moving so quickly that we cannot hear the wisdom and the message that our body wishes to share with us.
What would it be like to listen to the body and to hear what it has to say with loving acceptance of whatever is there?
Close your eyes now and arrive here.
Arrive in the room that you're in.
Breathe.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
Notice the tip of your nose,
The palms of your hands,
Your feet,
Your chest.
Notice the space that your body is in.
And notice the breath filling you and cleansing you.
I invite you to thank your body for traveling this far.
What would it be like to ask the question?
If my body could tell its story,
What would it say to me?
If my body could tell its story,
What would it say to me?
Allow whatever comes up to float to the surface of your awareness and allow it to be there,
Held in loving kindness and cherishing of the vulnerability in your body sharing.
Place a hand on your heart and another on your abdomen and breathe.
If you feel called,
Breathe a thank you into your body.
Breathe a thank you to your soul.
What would it be like to know that you walk together with your body and holds you,
That carries your soul?
Hear your body and cherish its voice.
Breathe in and breathe out and breathe in and let something go.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
Welcome home.
