Disappointment is a normal part of every person's life,
Including mine.
When I'm facing a challenge,
I can take care of myself by remembering that I'm not being punished or being paid back for past mistakes.
All people face challenges and have hard times in life sometimes.
Instead of beating myself up,
I will slow down,
Take a deep breath,
And remind myself that I am equal to this challenge.
I will remember or ask someone to remind me that I have the wisdom,
The energy,
And the determination to get through this.
I have the courage to ask for help when I need it.
I know that I will find a way to be okay,
Even if I don't know yet exactly how the situation will be resolved.
I can trust myself to look for and take each next best step.
I know that within me I have the power and energy to change what I can and the strength to accept what I can't.
I will remind myself that no situation or feeling is final.
Life is always changing.
Where I am,
The way things are right now,
Is not permanent.
Everything passes.
Even though everything is not as I want it to be,
I will remember that some things in my life are mostly okay,
And I am too.
I will not give up on myself,
My life,
Or my goals.
I deserve good things.
All is well.
