Many times when we sit down to meditation we bring with us expectations and desires. Yet, the fact remains that all we need to do is sit and be present to the moment occurring now. There is no need to solve anything, find profound wisdom or, become enlightened in some way. All we need to do is just sit, observe and by doing so you discover the Universe. Music by Chris Collins

Sometimes all we need to do is sit and be present to the moment occurring now.

There is no need to solve a problem,

Clarify an issue,

Or contemplate life.

Just sit,

Observe,

And by doing so,

You discover the universe.

Hello,

My name is Samantha Ochoa of Zyoga.

Welcome and thank you for joining me.

As we sit together quietly and see what the world has placed in front of us,

So begin by rolling the shoulders back,

Taking a nice deep breath in and exhale it out.

Inhale deeply and exhale out completely.

Allow yourself to relax the shoulders,

Relax the throat.

You don't realize how much tension we hold between the jaw and the shoulders,

So allow the breath to flow through the throat with a sense of fluidity and calm.

Giving yourself this time to be.

Sit steady,

Allow yourself to go inwards and let go of any distractions,

Any thoughts that is drawing you away from this moment.

Use the breath to create a balanced flow from within.

That silence,

Stillness,

Creates a sense of peace,

Peace,

Harmony within.

So don't allow your thoughts to ruffle your calm or drain your energy.

Let go of the need to even do.

Let go of the desire to obtain.

Because all the joy and peace are already within you.

There is no search that needs to happen.

Instead,

There's a simple awareness of the outside world,

Which doesn't take away from your harmony,

Which doesn't take away from your harmony,

Balance,

Peace or joy.

You simply sit and watch.

Watch the fluctuation of the mind as you sit still in silence,

In harmony.

And as challenging thoughts come and go,

Your heart will stay steady,

Stay strong.

You will not be rattled,

Easily distracted or agitated.

Harmony within keeps you focused and steady throughout.

You can learn a lot by being quiet,

By quiet in the mind.

You can find your way through the ups and downs,

The turbulence and bring yourself to a place of steadiness.

Only through you can disturbance be removed,

Imbalance be created.

And that is the power of coming to your seat.

It steadies the mind,

The breath,

The body,

And allows you to look inwards,

Turning in and discovering what is already there.

What was always there.

So let the body relax,

The chest opens,

And the breath flow fluidly through the nostrils,

Through the nostrils,

Through the throat,

And into the chest.

Notice if there's any tension and let it go.

This is your time,

Your space,

Your seat.

Don't allow anything to block you from moving deeper within.

Open your heart and shine through.

Create your peace,

Your stillness.

So take a few minutes here with eyes closed to listen to what is happening with your breath,

With your body,

With your heart.

Take a moment just to simply sit and watch.

And as you engage in activity again,

You begin by rolling the shoulders back,

Moving the fingers and opening your eyes,

But keeping the harmony steady,

Steadfast.

You know that you're going to move through your world feeling completely centered,

Not ruffled by the different fluctuations of life,

Knowing it can't disturb.

Your peace as you move your body from side to side.

You are conscious and an active participant in your life.

So as you move through your day,

Create the experience you want to have.

It lies within you.

Have a wonderful day and namaste.
