What is intuitive guidance?
Intuitive guidance is a form of healing which combines internal family systems,
Somatic reconnection,
Internal path therapy,
Mindfulness,
And deep introspection as a way to heal from past traumas.
The idea is this.
You slow down the body.
Connect to the heart space or the self.
Mindfully,
Your mind wanders,
You bring it back.
And once grounded in that self,
In the heart space,
In your wise mind.
You scan your body.
Feeling deeply for any parts that may be wanting to speak or connect with you.
Once you find a part,
A part of your past,
A part of your personality,
Something that you're holding on to.
You connect deeply to it,
Feeling the sensations that are arising and the aspects of the mind space that are opening up,
Without judgment,
Without filter,
With an attitude of compassionate curiosity and calm confidence.
Bringing ourself Connect with those paths,
Helps those paths to heal,
Reintegrate,
And release what they're holding onto.
With intuitive guidance,
We hold that the body keeps the score.
The idea is that things happened in the past,
And if we don't take a moment,
Like with an intuitive guidance practice,
To release them,
Will stay holding on to them.
It was a survival mechanism.
We did things to survive.
So our body holds onto it in an aspect of fight,
Flight,
Freeze,
Thawn and fantasy.
It keeps doing that process.
It keeps sharing.
It wants to let us know.
Our emotions and sensations that we're holding on to are messages.
And if we don't listen to them,
If we don't do a process where we connect to them and try to release them,
Eventually they get stronger.
They manifest as pain,
As issues,
As duress,
As stress,
As thinking patterns that no longer serve us.
So what do we do?
We find where we're holding onto these things in the body.
We turn our attention towards it.
We get curious about it.
We connect to it.
And we let it express itself.
Saying hey,
I'm here.
I am here as long.
As you need to feel safe to release,
Because these parts of the body do want to release.
They want to be free.
They want to be flowing and want to be flexible.
So gradually.
Over time.
We connect from ourselves to that part of the body.
No pressure.
Letting these parts of us.
Part of our past,
Our inner child or our shadow?
To know that they are safe.
Do we accept them?
That we are here.
And that we're inviting them to release.
It's an invitation.
Not a request.
The final thing we do when we're working with these inner parts.
Is we.
Commit to return.
We're not trying to fix them all in one go.
We're not even trying to fix them.
We're just trying to connect,
To let them know that us,
The self,
Our core,
Is here.
That whatever happened is no longer happening and that we've got it.
So we commit to return,
Again and again and again.
Until this part of us is ready to release.
