And welcome to the session,
I invite you to take a seat,
Or lie down and get yourself comfortable,
You can close down the eyes if you wish,
And just begin by slowing down the breath,
Breathing in through the nose,
Low into the belly,
Just a bit slower than what you're currently doing,
Taking a moment to scan the body,
Scan the mind,
Just release any surface level tensions and thoughts that are ready to be released,
And then gently placing your hand upon the heart space,
Placing your hand upon the heart space and just feeling the warmth of your hand on your skin,
If you ever get lost during this session,
Distracted,
Need to come back,
Just feeling the hand upon the heart space,
Checking back into the warmth,
And then diving back into the session,
Now visualising the heart space as a glowing ball of energy,
Or light,
Or flame,
Whatever colour manifests for you,
And with the breath,
Visualising the heart space growing stronger and brighter,
As we embody,
Embrace and become the heart space,
If you can,
Begin witnessing from the heart space,
Shifting the seat of consciousness,
The place you observe from,
Down from the mind,
Into the heart space,
With the breath,
The heart space grows stronger and brighter,
As we embody,
Embrace and become the heart space,
In this session we are going to visualise a disentangling,
A releasing,
A snipping,
Of all the attachments and connections that are no longer serving,
To taking a moment to visualise,
Visualising yourself connected by strands of energy,
Connected to the past,
To the present,
And to the future,
Connected to people,
Places and events,
Some of these connections will be positive,
Most will be neutral,
And some will be negative,
And they may appear differently in your mind's eye,
The positive connections will be appealing,
Radiant,
Healthy,
And the negative connections will be the opposite,
Picturing in your mind's eye these connections,
To the people,
Places and events,
Of your past,
Present and future,
To taking a moment to consider all of the connections,
All of the attachments,
All of the things you are holding onto,
And when you are ready,
Begin the process of finding the strands that are no longer serving you,
And start releasing them,
It may feel symbolic at first,
But that's the beginning,
And you can choose the tool that feels best suited to you,
And to the attachment,
Maybe it's a matter of just gently untying a knot and releasing,
Maybe you need to imagine or visualise scissors snipping them away,
Or like an unpicking tool,
Or maybe the attachments feel significant and stronger,
Perhaps you need something along the lines of a spiritual oxy cutter to break these barriers off,
Or a gentle cream that slowly helps it to release,
I am purposely being vague with these suggestions,
Because each connection is unique,
And each person working on those connections are unique,
From the heart space,
With the breath we are visualising the heart space growing stronger and brighter,
As we embody,
Embrace and become the heart space,
From that place,
Picturing connections,
To people,
Places and events,
From the past,
Present,
Future,
And finding the strands and connections that no longer serve us,
And in our own way,
Gently releasing them,
Cutting them away,
And we hold that the body keeps the score,
This is true for big things,
But also small,
It can be quite subtle at times,
But find where this attachment is connecting to your body,
Feel into that space,
And perhaps even ask it,
What does it need to release,
What does it need from you in order to be able to let go,
In order for those scissors to do their work,
So that the knot can be untied and let go of,
If you are working with connection,
It is refusing to release,
That is ok,
Or for yourself,
Or for the part of you that you are connected to,
For the connection,
The attachment,
All of it,
Love,
Compassion,
Acceptance,
Not acceptance in the form of lacking the fact that this attachment is here,
But acceptance of the truth that it is,
And simply sit and feel and listen,
Asking it what it needs,
Into this space you can add the words,
I am free,
There are no attachments influencing me,
I am free,
There are no attachments influencing me,
I am free,
There are no attachments influencing me,
So a practice like this isn't designed to cause immediate release,
You will release when you are ready,
Or rather when the parts of you are ready to release,
But what we are doing here is connecting,
Becoming aware of what you are holding on to,
Letting those parts of you know that you are back and that you are here,
And gently offering them and saying hey,
If you want to release,
I am here to be there for you,
What do you need,
Oh I see that this is a big one,
Let's work on this,
So with any sort of inner work like this one,
We take it slowly,
We come back to it,
If you found a part that you were struggling to let go of,
That's okay,
Later today,
Tomorrow,
Next week,
Come back to the part,
That connection,
Find where it's located in the body,
Just check in,
Offering it love,
And offering it release,

Or rather shifting the seat of attention to the heart space,
Witnessing from the heart space,
Visualizing it as a glowing ball of energy,

And from there adding the visualization of attachments,
Connections,
To the past,
Present,
Future,
People,
Places,
And events,
And making our way through,
And gently releasing those that are no longer serving,
Either those attachments will release,
Or they won't,
They do release,
You move on to the next one,
They don't,
You stay with them,
You get curious about it,
Find where it's located in the body,
Find what it needs from you,
Give that to that part,
If it still does not release,
That's okay,
You come back to it again,
And again,
And again,
And again,
Gently offering it love and trust,
Repeatedly,
Almost as if with the breath,
Showing that you are here,
And eventually connection will soften and release,
