And welcome to the session.
Invite,
Take seat.
Or lie down.
And get yourself comfortable.
And close down the eyes if you wish just begin by slowing down the breath when you're ready placing your hand upon the heart space.
And just feeling the warmth of the hand upon your skin.
I like to visualise the heart space as a glowing ball of energy or a light.
Or slime.
Stronger and brighter.
With each breath.
The heart space.
The self.
The wise mind,
Our intuition whatever you call this space.
Will be our home base for this session.
Awenka.
We find ourselves lost or overwhelmed.
Will return.
This space is untaintable.
Uncorruptible.
But sometimes.
Things will happen.
External stresses are such that it overwhelms the system.
And their body.
Or a part of our body.
Takes over to protect us.
We fall into a mode of fight or flight or freeze.
Of form or fantasy.
And we survive.
And then years or decades later,
That part is still doing that job.
It's still keeping us safe.
But maybe that response is no longer.
Viable.
Or appropriate.
So in this session will invite a part of us too.
Connect.
Part of our past.
Part of our personality.
Part that is located somewhere in the body.
Part that you feel intuitively called to work with today.
Could be a collection of parts.
From the heart space.
Virtualizing A line.
Line of energy or line of light or attention connecting you.
To that pun.
Never so delicately.
With the breath.
Is going to offer it love attention.
Compassion.
Connection.
And then returning back to the self connection.
Return.
Delicately.
But persistently.
With each breath letting this part Part of the body,
Part of our past,
No.
But we are back.
We are here.
We are listening.
Really feeling the sensations in that part of the body deeply if you notice.
A tension in the muscles.
Perhaps with the breath.
Release them.
Be curious about what happens.
Are you able to release?
Or does the body stay tense?
If it does release.
Water rises in that part of the body.
Or other parts of the body.
Or the mind.
Get curious about what arises.
You could explore gently squeezing and releasing those parts of the body.
Going slowly.
Subtly.
And with consent.
We are not rushing this process.
From the self of the heart space.
By visualizing a line of connection the part of the body we're working with.
With the breath,
We connect.
And return.
Feeling the tensions and the sensations in the part of the body we are working with perhaps gently.
Releasing.
Any tension that is there noticing the response in the body.
And in the mind.
Approaching and accepting it all.
Compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
Sometimes you'll find that a part that you're working with.
Is in conflict.
Or in opposition to another part of the body.
One is pulling down one way.
Another is pulling down another.
One will feel incandescent and hot.
Whereas another will feel cold and rigid.
Or when you work with one part.
Something else is popping up too.
If you notice them.
Bring that second part into the conversation.
Imagine another line between your heart space and that second part and between them.
And get curious about the dynamics.
You may notice one is trying to be quite controlly.
Putting in systems.
Structures.
Blocking off emotion.
Versus the other might be.
Responding with,
Chaos.
With.
Action.
In a way that is in opposition to the other part.
Pulling you away from feeling something.
Both keeping you safe.
But perhaps not in a way that is conducive long-term.
And when one gets too strong the other one jumps in.
When that one gets too strong.
The first one jumps in pulling us in different directions.
From the hard space.
Find both of these parts in the body.
Feel them.
Connect to them.
And almost act like a human.
Negotiator.
A therapist.
Were loving and apparent.
Allow them to speak.
To express.
And offer them A.
Way to mediate.
To share what is arising.
What they are doing for you.
They're afraid of happening.
And their feelings about the other part.
At the system in general.
Let's sit with that.
For 10 minutes.
Sitting with the parts of the body.
Peeling the sensations deeply connected to both.
Just generally offering love.
Connection.
Compassion.
And listening.
And trusting your intuition go down whatever path.
Feels right.
Let's begin.
You again.
If you'd like to maintain the meditation You're more than welcome to do so.
But for everyone else,
Just gently returning returning back to their body.
Back to the session.
Back to the day.
In this session we looked at an intuitive guidance practice settling into the heart space,
The self.
From there connecting to a part.
Feeling it deeply.
Exploring the gentle tension and release.
Seeing what came out.
And also considering that there might be other parts.
That are activated.
Potentially in opposition.
Both trying to keep you safe.
Both trying to.
But perhaps in contradictory ways.
We brought both into the conversation.
Acting as a guide or a mediator.
And allowing all to express and share.
You may find if you do this sort of thing that there's one part that's active.
Or that one part is activating other parts.
You may find the need to bring in more.
All together.
And then approaching each individually.
Call this practice intuitive guidance because it is deeply intuitive if you're in that sense of self the heart space.
The wise mind.
Intuition.
The part that's connected to the divine.
You the observer.
That part knows best.
Whilst I'll offer.
Guidance intuitively to you.
From that space you can take a look inside.
And see what you need to do.
I encourage you to explore in that path.
I do suggest that at the end of these sessions,
You let the parts that you're working with know.
We will return.
That we're committed to coming back.
This is not a once and done kind of thing.
Perhaps later today,
Tomorrow.
In some future session to come back.
You'll check in.
And that with that gentle return with the breath ever so subtly,
Ever so delicately.
Reconnect.
And eventually with time and trust.
This process will result in those parts releasing,
Reintegrating.
That will feel like a.
.
.
Release and return.
And a weight off your shoulders,
So to speak.
Thank you for joining me.
We'll see you in the next session.
