We’ll also explore how constipation can be a sign of feeling stuck in life, and how to restore flow in both your digestive system and your emotional state. Repeat this meditation for 14 days and drink at least 1.5 - 2L of water daily to create lasting shifts.

Welcome,

I'm Dr.

Kim,

A holistic chiropractor and online back pain coach.

This meditation is designed to support both smooth digestion and emotional flow,

Particularly in relieving constipation.

If you've been feeling blocked or stuck,

Whether physically or emotionally,

This practice will help you create more flow in your body and your life.

I encourage you to repeat this meditation daily for the next 14 days to experience the full benefits.

Before we begin,

Let's talk a little bit about why constipation can sometimes occur,

Not just physically,

But emotionally and energetically.

Stress and anxiety can put us in fight-or-flight mode where our bodies prioritize survival and running away over things like digestion.

In order to digest our food properly,

We need to enter a relaxed rest and digest state.

But constipation can also manifest when we're feeling stuck in certain areas of life,

Whether in our relationships,

Career,

Or personal growth.

When we hold onto emotions or resist change,

That energy can get stuck in our bodies,

Especially in the digestive system.

Today,

We're going to focus on releasing those physical and emotional blockages.

Let's begin by dimming the lights and getting comfortable.

Find a comfy position,

Either lying down or sitting in a chair.

Close your eyes and start by bringing awareness to your breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

Take another deep breath in.

Now let it out slowly.

Feel your body begin to settle and relax.

Continue to breathe naturally,

Bringing yourself into a state of calm.

Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen as you breathe in and out.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in fresh energy.

And with each exhale,

Visualize releasing energy.

And with each exhale,

Visualize releasing anything that feels stuck,

Physically or emotionally.

Now I'd like you to visualize your digestive system as a flowing river.

Imagine that your food and energy move smoothly through your stomach and intestines in a circular motion,

Carried by a gentle current.

This river flows without obstruction,

Effortlessly guiding everything along its path.

This flow doesn't only represent your physical digestion.

It also symbolizes the areas of your life where you may feel stuck.

Notice if any thoughts or emotions arise as you focus on this smoothly flowing river.

Do you feel like you're holding on to something?

A situation,

A person,

A job,

Or even a belief that's keeping you stuck?

As you breathe,

Imagine the gentle current washing away any blockages,

Both in your body and in your life.

Feel the tension releasing as the river restores balance and harmony to your system.

Allow things to flow freely without resistance.

Now focus on relaxing your entire gut.

Imagine a warm,

Soothing light entering the top of your head,

Flowing down through your chest,

Into your stomach,

And down through your intestines.

This warm light is relaxing and softening every part of your digestive tract,

Allowing it to function smoothly.

As this light moves through you,

Also feel it gently dissolving any emotional blocks.

Whatever you've been holding on to,

Fear,

Stress,

Frustration,

Or a feeling of being stuck,

Allow it to release with this light.

Know that it's safe to let go.

Feel your body responding,

Your nervous system calming,

And your digestion beginning to move freely again.

You are shifting out of fight or flight,

And into rest and digest,

Where healing can happen naturally.

Now let's affirm this process with a few powerful statements.

Silently or out loud,

Repeat after me.

I release what no longer serves me.

My body knows how to let go and flow.

I trust in my body's wisdom in digestion and life.

I am open to change and embrace new possibilities.

Feel these affirmations deeply as you continue to breathe and relax.

You are creating space for healing and movement,

Both inside your body and in your life.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Take a moment to thank your body for all it does to support you.

Remember,

Constipation can be a physical sign of holding on to things,

Whether it's tension,

Emotions,

Or old patterns that are no longer serving you.

In addition to this meditation,

Remember to stay hydrated.

Drinking enough water helps keep things moving in your digestive system.

Aim for at least 1.

5 to 2 liters of water a day.

Over the next 14 days,

As you repeat this meditation,

Notice if you feel shifts,

Not only in your digestion,

But in areas of your life where you've felt stuck.

Let this meditation be your tool for creating more flow,

Physically,

Emotionally,

And spiritually.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back.

Wiggle your fingers,

And when it feels right,

Gently open your eyes.
