Namaste.

This is Amanda.

Thank you for joining me for this yoga nidra for your third eye chakra.

This chakra,

Linked to the pineal gland,

Is located in between your eyebrows.

It's referred to as the seat of wisdom and is associated with your intuition,

Awareness,

Inner perception,

Imagination,

Spiritual perception,

And vision.

This chakra transcends time and is where we perceive the subtle qualities of reality.

Signs of a blocked third eye chakra can include feelings of being stuck or having a lack of purpose,

A rejection of spiritual contemplation,

An inability to create a vision for self,

And a lack of clarity.

Use the next few minutes to get yourself as comfortable as possible.

Lying on your back,

Let your feet rest hip distance apart.

Ensure that your spine is in alignment,

That your head and neck are resting comfortably on a pillow or on the ground beneath you.

Your shoulders are relaxed,

And your arms are resting comfortably at your sides,

Palms facing up.

Feel free to bring in anything that will help you feel more comfortable and at ease.

Such as a bolster or pillow under your knees for added support,

A blanket for warmth,

An eye pillow or covering to block out unwanted light,

Headphones for optimal listening,

And anything else that you find supportive at this time.

Nestle into your yoga nidra nest,

And let's begin.

Close down your eyes,

And let yourself sink into the support beneath you.

Settle into stillness,

And find comfort in the dark behind closed eyes.

Begin to deepen your breath,

And intentionally release any tightness in your body with each exhale.

You might do a quick body scan right now,

Starting with your scalp,

Releasing any tension.

Moving down to your forehead,

All the little muscles in your face,

Your eyes,

Your neck,

Shoulders,

Chest and back,

Arms,

Hands,

And all 10 fingers,

Arms,

Shoulders,

Abdomen,

Hips,

Legs,

Feet,

And all 10 toes.

Might you also begin to feel the edges of your body softening and relaxing.

And with continued deep,

Calming breaths,

Begin to silently repeat the seed sound or mantra for your third eye chakra,

OM,

OM,

OM.

OM,

OM,

OM.

Continue on your own for the next few minutes.

You can release the mantra for now,

And return your focus to your breathing.

Your breath,

Life force energy,

Breathing your body,

Air flowing in,

And air flowing out.

As you continue to breathe at your own pace,

Begin a silent chant with each inhale and exhale.

Inhaling the word SO,

And exhaling the word HUM.

HUM,

SO on the inhale,

HUM on the exhale.

SO,

Continuing at your own pace.

Inhaling SO,

And exhaling HUM.

SO,

HUM loosely translates to I AM.

SO,

HUM.

HUM,

SO,

HUM.

SO,

HUM.

Continue for the next few moments.

Release the chant and bring your awareness to the crown of your head.

To the back of your head.

Base of your neck.

Right shoulder blade.

Left shoulder blade.

The entire length of your back,

From top to bottom.

Your awareness moving down your spine,

Vertebrae by vertebrae.

Right glute.

Left glute.

The backs of your thighs.

The backs of each knee,

Right and left.

Calves.

Heels.

The sole of each foot.

All the toes on your right foot,

Beginning with your big toe.

Second toe.

Third.

Fourth.

And little toe.

Moving to the toes on your left foot,

Starting with the big toe.

Second.

Third.

Fourth.

Fifth.

And little toe.

The tops of each foot,

Right and left.

Both ankles.

Shins.

Kneecaps.

Tops of both thighs.

Hips.

Pubic bone.

Navel.

Waist.

Right ribcage.

Left ribcage.

Heart center.

Both sides of your chest.

Both collarbones.

Right and left.

Shoulders.

Armpits.

Upper arms.

Elbows.

Lower arms.

Wrists.

The palm and back of each hand.

Right hand thumb.

First finger.

Second finger.

Third.

And little finger.

Awareness now on your throat center.

Chin.

Shoulders.

Upper lip.

Inside the right cheek.

Inside the left cheek.

Tongue.

Tip of your nose.

Cheekbones right and left.

Ears.

Temples.

Right eye.

Left eye.

Both eyebrows.

The space in between your eyebrows.

The space in between your eyebrows.

Your third eye chakra.

Might you visualize the color indigo here,

In the space between your eyebrows.

A beautiful combination of blue and purple.

Can you see this indigo hue in between your eyebrows?

It is here that you connect to your inner wisdom.

Your intuition.

Or some might say,

Your sixth sense.

Your sixth sense.

Your sixth sense.

Your sixth sense.

Your sixth sense.

Allow yourself to feel and connect with the words of the following affirmations as you continue to focus on the space in between your eyebrows.

I trust my intuition to guide me.

I have everything I need within me.

I have everything I need within me.

I am connected to my higher power.

I am connected to my higher power.

I am connected to my higher power.

I am connected to my higher power.

I am connected to my higher power.

I listen to my inner knowing.

I listen to my inner knowing.

I move through life with grace and ease.

I move through life with grace and ease.

I am insightful.

I am insightful.

I am full of wisdom and I trust myself.

I am full of wisdom and I trust myself.

And it's time to bring back the mantra for your third eye chakra.

Silently repeat.

Om.

Om.

Om.

Om.

Continue on your own.

You can release the mantra now and allow your attention to fall back onto your breathing.

No need to adjust your breathing in any way.

Allowing your breath to flow in and out at its own pace.

On your next inhale,

Begin to count each inhale and exhale until you reach the number 7.

Inhaling.

1.

Exhaling.

1.

Inhaling.

2.

Exhaling.

2.

Inhaling.

3.

Exhaling.

3.

Continue on your own until you reach the number 7.

You can let go of the count now and slowly start to awaken your senses.

Slowly and intentionally bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

Allow a deep breath.

And another one.

And another one.

And one more.

Slowly start to move your fingers and toes.

Your wrists and ankles.

Maybe allow for a full body stretch.

Perhaps nod your head from side to side ever so gently.

Ensure that all your movements are gentle and slow.

For there is no rush.

There is no need to hurry.

Give yourself time to come back slowly and with intention.

You might choose to roll onto your side and lay there for a while for no other reason than to simply bask in the experience.

You do what feels right for you,

Knowing that you can return to daily life only when it feels like the right time for you to do so.

You might give yourself a few minutes to journal about this practice before returning to your busy schedule.

As you lovingly bring your awareness back,

Let me use this time to say thank you for practicing with me today.

My name is Amanda,

And it has been such a pleasure for me to guide you through this yoga nidra for your third eye chakra.

There will be a new yoga nidra recording coming very soon for the remaining crown chakra.

And if you haven't already,

You might give a listen to my recordings for the other chakras,

And throat.

I'd love to hear from you in the comments.

It brings me so much delight to hear where you're practicing from and if you enjoyed the experience.

Know that I read and respond to every comment I receive,

And I am so grateful for every single one of them.

May you move through the rest of your day trusting your inner voice and allowing it to guide you.

Namaste.

I have been moving through these Yoga Nidra Chakra meditations, all have been well received, but this third eye Chakra meditation was especially profound! I am very grateful to have experienced this, words cannot explain the feeling and positive energetic flow this has brought me. I will certainly be revisiting. Thank you for this. 🙏
