To give yourself some grace.
It's okay if giving yourself compassion feels hard.
Know that like most everything else the more you practice.
The easier it becomes.
Give yourself the next few minutes to become comfy and cozy.
You could listen to this recording while laying on your back.
Or while sitting in a comfortable seated position.
Be sure to turn off the notifications on your phone.
And let anyone in your home know that you don't want to be interrupted.
For the next 10 or 15 minutes.
When you're ready.
Close down your eyes.
And begin to deepen your breath.
Allow a few deep breaths in through your nose and then releasing long and slow.
Through a slightly opened mouth.
Let your body fall back into its own natural breathing pattern.
