Namaste,

This is Amanda and welcome to this Yoga Nidra that will help you cultivate a feeling of abundance.

In this short practice,

You'll be guided to move into deep rest,

Which will encourage the activation of your parasympathetic nervous system.

It is in this resting state that you're able to feel your most abundant.

Be generous with your time right now as you become as comfortable as you can.

This is an opportunity for you to disconnect from your thinking mind and sink into deep relaxation.

Though Yoga Nidra is a form of non-sleep deep rest,

Know that it is absolutely fine if you fall asleep.

It's simply your body doing what it needs.

Yoga Nidra is traditionally practiced in Shavasana.

However,

Feel free to lay on your side or in a seated position if that's more comfortable for you at this time.

Bring in any props that will ensure complete comfort,

Such as a bolster,

Pillows,

An eye pillow or covering to remove unwanted light,

And a blanket for warmth.

Anything you need to ensure that your body is supported and cozy so that you can completely let go and feel at ease.

Close down your eyes.

Adjust any body parts that require adjustment.

Is there anything else you can do to become even more cozy in your Yoga Nidra nest?

Invite your attention to follow my voice as I gently guide you through this Yoga Nidra experience.

Begin by allowing a few deep breaths,

Bringing awareness to each exhale for it's with long,

Slow,

Intentional exhales that the body naturally lets go,

Releases all the little muscles around the eyes,

The jaw,

Shoulders,

Belly,

Arms,

Hands and fingers,

Legs,

Feet and toes.

Feel the tension releasing.

Feel your body preparing for Yoga Nidra.

As your mind and body surrender deeper into relaxation,

Welcome in your Sankalpa,

Your heart's deepest desire or your truest intention.

If you don't have a Sankalpa that you're working with,

Perhaps you'll choose to use the phrase,

I am flowing with the abundance that surrounds me always and in all ways.

I am flowing with the abundance that surrounds me always and in all ways.

Silently repeat your intention to yourself three times,

Accompanied by three deep breaths.

Gently bring your awareness to a favorite place that surrounds you with peace and safety,

Also known as your inner refuge,

A place where you feel calm,

Secure and grounded.

Perhaps this place is near water or in a forest or a meadow.

Letting your senses of seeing,

Hearing,

Smelling and touching.

Allow every part of yourself to be in this space.

Feel a sense of calm and ease surround you,

Be within you and envelop every part of you.

Breathing in the physiological sigh now,

A breathing pattern which consists of two sips of breath in through the nose,

Followed by an exhale resembling a sigh through an open mouth,

Releasing the jaw like this.

Join me,

Two sips in,

Exhale a sigh through an open,

Relaxed jaw.

Again,

Two sips in,

Long exhale out,

And one more time,

Sigh it out.

Return now to your natural breathing pattern,

Following your breath while your body sinks deeper into the coziness that you've created.

Knowing there's nowhere else you need to be,

Nothing else you need to be doing.

Just be here now,

Relaxed,

Listening,

Sensing,

Feeling.

Might you imagine a tiny ball of gold light ever so softly landing on each body part as you're gently guided through a rotation of consciousness.

Begin to bring your attention to the crown of your head,

Visualizing a tiny gold ball ever so softly resting there.

The back of your head,

The space in between your eyebrows,

The right temple cheekbone,

The left cheekbone,

The bridge of your nose,

The tip of your right ear,

The tip of your left ear,

Upper lip,

The space in between the lips,

Chin,

Throat,

Heart center,

Right collarbone,

Right shoulder,

Upper arm,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Palm of the right hand,

Tip of the thumb,

Tip of the first finger,

Second finger,

Third,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Right side of the chest,

Heart center,

Left collarbone,

Left shoulder,

Upper arm,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Palm of the left hand,

Tip of the thumb,

Tip of the first finger,

Second finger,

Third,

Back of the hand,

Shoulder,

Heart center,

Navel,

Right side of the waist,

Wrist,

Right hip,

Knee,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole of the right foot,

Tip of the big toe,

Tip of the second toe,

Follow your breath,

Breathing your body in and out,

In and out,

In and out.

Your breath,

Life force energy,

Nourishing your body and your organs.

Notice how good it feels to breathe in and breathe out without changing your breath in any way,

Simply breathing in what you need and letting go of what you don't,

Falling into the rhythm of your natural breathing.

Now sensing the entire right side of the body,

Could you sense only the right side of your body?

Give all your attention to the right side and feel the energy flowing through.

Sensing now the entire left side of the body,

Could you sense only the left side of your body?

Give all your attention to the left side and feel the energy as it flows through the left side.

And now become aware of the front of the body,

From head to toe,

The entire front of the body,

Open,

Moving your awareness to the back of your body,

Sensing the entire back of your body from head to toe,

The entire back.

Bring your awareness to every part of your body,

Back and front simultaneously,

Your whole body together.

Imagine now that you're walking into the opening of a grand forest,

Lush and green plants,

Trees and animals,

Everything clean and crisp from a recent rainfall.

Can you feel the air against your skin?

The scent of freshly cleansed earth as you breathe,

Walking deeper into this forest,

Observe your surroundings,

Note the presence of sounds.

Become aware of how grounded you feel,

Knowing you are held by the great mother earth.

As you continue to move deeper within this vast space,

Might you sense the aliveness that surrounds you?

Might you notice that this space is full of life,

That is thriving and abundant,

For here nothing feels lack or scarcity.

All needs are met always and in all.

All of nature trusts that it will receive what it requires.

There is nothing in nature that doubts it's worthy of thriving.

Feel how intimately connected you are to everything around you.

You are not separate from any of this.

Yes,

You are one with it.

Vital life force energy,

Just like the plants,

Trees and animals.

And just as their needs are always taken care of,

So are yours.

Feel the flow of abundance that is around you and within you.

As a flower attracts exactly what it needs to blossom,

So do you.

Mother earth provides more than enough for every species to thrive,

Including you.

Feel her gracious abundance.

Let it move through every part of your being.

Know that you are held and supported in every area of your life.

Allow yourself to rest in this present moment.

Nothing to do except breathe and be.

Feel yourself at home in the silence.

Linger here generously.

Give space for nothingness.

It's time now to bring your sankalpa back,

Planting its seed deep within.

I am flowing with the abundance that surrounds me always and in all ways.

Silently repeat your sankalpa three times.

Now begin to witness the natural breath,

Breathing the body.

As you inhale and exhale,

Begin to count from one up to five.

Inhaling one,

Exhaling one,

Inhaling two,

Exhaling two.

Continue at your own pace until you reach the number five.

As you ever so slowly start to wake the body,

Begin to sense the earth beneath you and the room around you.

Listen to the sounds in your space.

Allow a deep inhale,

Perhaps the deepest you've allowed all day,

Followed by a long,

Slow,

Intentional exhale.

You might ever so slowly begin to wiggle the fingers and the toes slowly and with intention.

Nod your head from side to side.

Perhaps allow a big stretch if your body so desires.

If you're on your back,

Softly roll your body over to one side and linger there for a few moments with absolutely no rush.

Only when you're feeling ready,

Very slowly and gently begin to softly flutter the eyes open,

Bringing your awareness back into this present moment.

Allow yourself to bask in the abundant energy you've created within.

This has been Amanda,

And it has been my honor to lead you through this Yoga Nidra practice today to cultivate abundance within.

May you remember that abundance surrounds you and is within you always and in all ways.

Namaste.

Amanda! I'm in Module 9 of Ally's Transformational Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher Training! I listened to this track after lunch and loved it! I really loved your soothing voice, your pacing, and the gentle background music! Thank you for your guidance and congrats on your final project! I teach meditation on Insight Timer and can't wait to offer Yoga Nidra recordings in the near future (like you!) once I complete my training! 🙏💚
