This spacious open awareness meditation supports sensitive nervous systems during moments of overstimulation, sensory overload, or emotional overwhelm. Throughout this longer practice, you are gently invited to rest in a broad awareness of breath, sensation, sound, and inner experience. Rather than trying to control what arises, we simply notice each experience as it comes and goes. Open awareness can become a place of rest when the mind feels busy or the senses feel flooded. This meditation is especially supportive when you have time to slow down, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with a steady presence of awareness. By allowing thoughts, sensations, and sounds to move through awareness without judgment, the body and mind can gradually return to a deeper sense of calm. Music by Chris Collins.
