This is a deeply immersive practice.
A chance to sit or lie down,
Soften,
And reconnect with something steady inside you.
This is not about convincing yourself of anything,
It's about remembering.
Find a comfortable position.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And a long,
Easy exhale through your mouth.
Let the day loosen its grip.
You don't have to prove anything here.
We'll begin with a body scan.
Start by noticing your feet.
Relax your feet.
Allow the muscles in your toes to soften.
The soles of your feet releasing.
Relaxation moving up through your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees.
Allow your thighs to soften.
Your hips grow heavy.
Let your belly relax completely.
Nothing to hold in,
Nothing to tighten against.
Allow the muscles of your back to soften.
Your shoulders melting down and away from your ears.
Your arms loose.
Your hands resting easily.
Allow the neck to soften.
Your jaw unclenching.
Mouth relaxed.
Soften the muscles behind your eyes.
Relax.
Smoothing the forehead.
Your whole body settling.
Supported.
Safe enough in this moment.
As I count slowly from 1 to 10,
Imagine yourself settling deeper.
Not drifting away,
But coming home to yourself.
1.
Your body heavy and supported.
2.
Your breath steady.
3.
Your face relaxed.
4.
Your shoulders softened.
5.
Your belly soft.
6.
Your hips grounded.
7.
Your legs resting.
8.
Your whole body calm.
9.
Your mind quiet,
Without effort.
10.
Deeply settled,
Gently aware.
There is nothing you need to do here.
11.
From this softened place,
Bring your awareness inward.
Not to fix yourself.
Not to improve yourself.
Simply to notice.
Somewhere inside you,
Beneath doubt,
Beneath criticism,
There is a steady knowing.
A quiet truth.
You are enough,
Just as you are.
And you are lovable.
You were born worthy of love.
Before you achieved anything.
Before you were praised.
Before you were criticized.
You have always been enough.
As a baby,
You did not question your worth.
You cried when you needed something.
You reached for connection.
You expected to be cared for.
Worth was not something you earned.
Love was not something you had to prove yourself into.
It was something you embodied.
And as you grew,
You absorbed messages.
Some helpful.
Some painful.
Moments where you felt not good enough.
Not smart enough.
Not strong enough.
Not successful enough.
Over time,
Those messages layered over that original knowing that you have always been enough.
But they did not erase it.
That deeper worth has never left you.
Your lovability has never disappeared.
It has simply been waiting to be remembered with gentleness.
Take a slow breath in.
And imagine that beneath all the layers there is a steady ember.
Not flashy or dramatic.
Just steady.
A quiet sense of being worthy of love.
You don't have to amplify it.
You don't have to force yourself to believe it.
Just notice that it exists.
Even if only faintly.
If there is a part of you that resists this.
That says,
No,
I'm not enough.
See if you can meet that part with kindness.
It likely formed to protect you.
To help you try harder.
To avoid rejection.
And to stay safe and connected.
You don't have to silence it.
You can simply let it know.
You are allowed to rest now.
And notice what happens in your body as you stop arguing with yourself.
Even a 1% softening matters.
Now imagine what it feels like not to become someone else but to move through your life with just a little more self-trust.
Less urgency to prove.
Less pressure to perform.
More permission to be human.
You try new things.
You make mistakes.
You learn.
You grow.
And none of that changes your inherent worth.
None of that makes you less deserving of love.
Life is expressing itself as you.
And you are here to be uniquely yourself.
You are allowed to take up space in that expression.
Imperfectly.
Beautifully.
Uniquely.
You.
Let that settle into your being.
Take a slow breath.
And ask yourself quietly What would change in my day if I moved through it believing I was already enough?
You don't need a grand answer.
Maybe you'd soften your self-talk.
Maybe you'd rest when you're tired.
Or maybe you'd take one small courageous step.
Trust whatever arises.
In a moment I'll count down from five to one.
Gently bringing you back.
Five.
Bringing awareness to your breath.
Four.
Feeling the surface beneath you.
Three.
Small movements in your fingers and toes.
Two.
Energy returning gently.
And one.
Opening your eyes when you're ready.
You are never required to earn your worth.
You are already enough.
And you can return to this remembering anytime.
