This is a 30 minute guided meditation.
We're going to start with natural breathing,
Bringing your focus to a single point before a brief internal journey to a space where you have the opportunity to move a little deeper if you choose to and contemplate something specific or to just openly reflect before we make our way back to where we started.
You will hear my voice guiding you throughout this meditation.
I'm only here to hold a safe space for you to experience your journey.
At any time during the meditation you can choose to open the eyes and come back to this point.
If you choose to do so,
Please do so gently,
Perhaps gazing at the floor for a few breaths if you are seated or at the ceiling if you're lying on your back.
So let's begin.
Firstly,
Let's make sure that you are warm enough.
Your metabolism during meditation slows down and you may find that your body temperature falls.
You will also need to look at your screen at the start and the end of this meditation.
So make sure it is somewhere you can easily see it.
So now coming to a comfortable posture,
Maybe seated with the legs crossed,
Perhaps on a block or if you prefer lying down on your back or even sitting in your favourite chair.
The key thing is to be comfortable.
So now settle into your chosen posture.
And once you're settled and you're ready,
Please just relax and allow me to guide you through this meditative experience.
With your eyes open,
Look at the image on the screen.
A soft gaze.
Bring the focus to your breath.
Natural breathing through the nose.
Allow the breath to come and go.
Feel the movement of the air at the nostrils as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
For now,
Make this movement of air your focus.
Feel the breath becoming smoother,
Shallower,
More relaxed.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
Look at the image on your screen.
With a soft focus,
Take in the detail of the scene.
Look at the objects.
The trees,
The sun's rays,
The morning mist.
Now look at the space between those objects.
And gently bring the eyes to a close.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Very gently now,
Just open the eyes again.
With a soft focus,
Take in once more the detail of the scene on the screen.
Look at the objects.
Look at the space between the objects.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Gently close the eyes again.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Gently open the eyes.
With a soft focus,
Take in the detail of the scene on your screen.
Look at the objects.
Look at the space between the objects.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Once more,
Gently bring the eyes to a close.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Keeping the eyes closed,
Bring that same image to the front of your mind.
Visualise perhaps the image projected to a point between your eyes.
In that visualisation,
You become aware that you are in a beautiful,
Lush garden.
You hear the sounds of the garden.
You can smell the sweet scents of the garden.
As you look down,
You see that you are at the top of a flight of steps that lead down,
Twisting as they go.
As you look up,
You see the image you saw on your screen.
The image you saw projected between the eyes.
Again,
You see both objects and space between.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
You take your left foot forward and step down.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
Your awareness unites with this image between the eyebrows.
You relax.
You feel safe.
You feel calm.
You are moving down,
Down towards a place that is familiar,
Wholesome and nourishing.
You take the next step down.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
You relax.
You feel safe.
You feel calm.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
You are moving down,
Down towards a place that is wholesome and nourishing.
You take the next step down.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
You relax.
You feel safe.
You feel calm.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
You are moving down.
You feel energy at that point between the eyebrows.
The energy moves down the front of the face to the neck.
Your awareness settles in the front of the throat.
You feel the throat space open.
You feel the energy in the throat space.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
You are moving down,
Down towards a place of knowing and caring.
You take the next step down.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
You relax.
You feel safe.
You feel calm.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
You are moving down.
You feel the energy in the throat.
It moves down the front of the chest.
Your awareness settles in the heart space.
You feel the heart space open.
You feel the energy in the heart space.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You are moving down,
Down towards something knowing,
Sharing and trusting.
For the last time you step down.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Maintaining this soft,
Subtle breath.
You realise you are at the bottom of the steps.
You look ahead.
A path meanders ahead of you through the garden.
As you look up,
You see that same image.
The sun through the trees.
With your awareness at the heart.
You feel the connection of the sun to the heart space.
The sun to the sun of suns.
The space of the universe to the space within.
You feel the exchange of energy between the eternal sun in the sky and the eternal sun within.
You look ahead on the path.
You see the rays from above and within illuminating the next bend.
Leading you forward.
You move slowly forward.
At the bend you stop and bathe in the suns rays.
As you look up towards the sun through the trees.
You feel the energy.
A glow in your heart space.
It expands to fill the chest and the torso.
You feel contentment.
You are content.
You look ahead on the path.
You see the rays from above and within illuminating the next bend.
Leading you forward.
You move forward slowly.
At the bend you stop and bathe in the suns rays.
As you look up towards the sun through the trees.
You feel the energy.
A glow in your heart and torso expand.
Expand downwards to fill the legs,
Feet and toes.
You are grounded.
You feel grounded.
You are grounded.
You look ahead on the path.
Again you see the rays from above and within illuminating the next bend.
They lead you forward.
So you move slowly forward.
And again stop and bathe in the suns rays.
As you look up towards the sun through the trees.
You feel the energy.
A glow that now fills your heart,
Torso and lower body.
Expand once more.
This time to fill the arms and the hands.
You feel awareness.
You are aware.
You look ahead on the path.
You see the rays from above and within illuminating the next bend.
They lead you forward.
You move forward slowly.
And at the bend you stop and bathe in the suns rays.
As you look up towards the sun through the trees.
You feel the energy.
A glow that now fills your heart,
Torso,
Lower body and upper body.
You feel it expand upwards to fill the neck,
The head,
The forehead all the way to the top of the head.
You feel connected.
You are connected.
You look around.
You find that you are standing in a clearing in the garden.
You are content.
You are grounded.
You are aware.
And you are connected.
You are content.
You are grounded.
You are aware.
And you are connected.
You decide to stay here in this clearing for a little while.
You look at the garden around you.
It is beautiful.
You appreciate it but you find that you are not attached to it.
You turn your senses inward and you realise there is more beauty within than all the beauty in this garden.
More beauty within than all the beauty even beyond this garden.
You stand here in this clearing bathed in the light of your own beauty.
The journey to this realisation is behind you.
It is the past.
This realisation is the present.
The present is this realisation.
It is only the present that matters.
You stay here in this present for a few moments in silence.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing out.
You you you you you you you look once more up at the sun through the trees again the sun's rays lead you forward this time across the clearing to steps leading upwards as you take the first step you feel the expanded energy moving from the head concentrating contracting back to the heart breathing in breathing out maintaining this soft subtle breath as you take the next step up you feel the expanded energy moving from the arms and the hands concentrating back to the heart breathing in breathing out maintaining this soft subtle breath as you take the next step upwards you feel the expanded energy moving from the legs and feet concentrating back to the heart space breathing in breathing out maintaining this soft subtle breath as you take the final step up you feel the expanded energy moving from the chest and torso concentrating back to the heart space as you look around you realise you're standing now where you started looking at the sun through the trees the image is the same but your perspective feels different you feel different the energy in your heart centre is strong and slowly blink open your eyes blink open your eyes blink open your eyes and when you're ready gaze softly again at the image on the screen as you gaze softly at the image on the screen at the objects and at the space between the objects feel the new energy that you have created and concentrated in your heart space gaze softly at the image on the screen using that new energy in your heart space as you breathe a few more times here breathing in,
Breathing out breathing in and breathing out you are ready whenever you choose to to leave the garden knowing that you can come back whenever you want to I do hope that you've enjoyed this brief journey and I do hope to see you again on the path in the garden soon.
