An extended guided meditation that incorporates the sound of the gong. Once settled in our meditative posture I will guide you to each of the koshas where we will pause and use the sound of the gong to contemplate and move deeper to the next layer. The gong allows us to increase our sensitivity to and direct our vital energy, stimulating and regenerating while allowing us to move through energetic blockages.

Hello,

You're with Andrew at Yogi Moksha.

It has long been recognised that sound is experienced not only by hearing through the ears but also in more tactile ways across the body through vibrations and frequencies.

Many ancient practices are now recognised as having wellness benefits and sound meditation research demonstrates it can help us reduce tension,

Anger,

Fatigue,

Anxiety and depression as well as increasing a sense of spiritual wellbeing.

The gong is a unique instrument capable of delivering powerful vibrations that are believed in many cultures to resonate with our subtle bodies and energy stimulating,

Regenerating and removing blockages to maintain physical and spiritual health.

In this meditation once we have settled into our meditative posture and brought our focus inwards we will use the sound of the gong to increase our sensitivity to and direct our internal vital energy whether we call that prana,

Chi or something else.

On this introspective journey there will be times where I guide you to a place where the sound of the gong will carry you forward and deeper on its own and other times when I will continue to guide as the sound of the gong illuminates the path.

This is your journey within yourself so where you travel and your destination will be your unique experience each time you practice.

With a guide and the gong your journey will be safe and enlightening so there is no need to suppress any thoughts or emotions that arise as we walk this path together supported by the sound of the gong.

Simply relax and open the mind to all that you encounter.

So let's get comfortable lying down or seated as you prefer in a space where you won't be interrupted.

Headphones will always improve the gong experience but are not actually required.

Eyes can be closed or open as you prefer.

If your eyes are open try fixing a soft gaze on the floor,

Wall or ceiling.

Once you are settled become aware of the breath as we inhale in through the nostrils to the throat down into the lungs and exhale lungs throat nose nostrils cool air in warm air out belly rising and falling as we inhale and exhale inhale and exhale gently bringing our awareness to the heart centre opening the heart centre ready to receive the sound of the gong to follow the sound of the gong.

We start with the physical body Anamaya Kosha.

We bring our awareness to the beating of the heart in the heart space the physical sensations the rhythmic pulsing pumping of the blood bringing life to each cell throughout the physical body as the sound of the gong builds feel the physical response move from the heart space throughout the body.

Bringing our awareness back to the heart center we carry this energy forward to the energetic or vital body,

Pranamaya Kosha.

We move beyond the beating of the heart,

Beyond the physical body to become aware of the energy that is being created.

Energy moving within the heart center.

As the sound of the gong builds we feel the energy in the heart center build,

Build to a point where we experience that energy cascade through the body energizing every part of us with warm vibrational energy.

Again with our awareness back at the heart center we feel ourselves open,

Open up to the emotional body,

Manamaya Kosha,

A bridge to the more subtle bodies,

A place many find difficult to cross,

But where the sound of the gong will carry us forward,

Forward as we rise above the energetic to the emotional,

More subtle again each time we elevate.

Here we are aware only of the thoughts and emotions that build within the heart space.

Again as you feel the sound of the gong bird,

Feel those emotions in the heart center build,

Build to a point where we experience them moving through the body in waves,

Waves of pure emotion in the middle of the ocean,

Powerful consistent rolling waves.

With our awareness back at the heart center we have crossed the bridge,

We find our souls in the knowledge body,

Vignana Maya.

We have crossed to a place where only knowledge and wisdom exist,

Where the purity of knowledge is as bright as the sun.

As we gaze at that sun we feel the knowledge and the wisdom permeate every cell of our being,

Invigorating,

Calming,

Understanding and forgiving.

Absolute clarity of everything is with us,

The veils of our normal existence removed.

We see all as it is.

Again as the sound of the gong builds.

We feel a light of knowledge brighten in the heart center,

Brighten to a point where there is nothing but light,

Yet within that pure white light are the answers to all the questions we have and never will have.

With our awareness back at the heart center we look back,

We pause and consider our journey from the physical to the energetic,

Across the bridge of the emotional to the seat of all knowledge,

All steps to where we are now.

And as we look forward again we make one more step to find ourselves open to the bliss body,

Anandamaya.

Anandamaya,

A place where we can observe with detachment the bodies we have moved through,

A place where we would rather be than anywhere else,

Yet a place that cannot exist and cannot be reached without the journey through the other bodies.

It is only through consciousness that we are aware.

The physical body is without discomfort.

The energetic body resonates.

The emotional body is full of nothing but love.

The knowledge body radiates.

We are here where we wish to be,

Where we cannot yet stay,

But where we will return.

We are here surrounded by everything and yet nothing.

The sound of the gong illuminates this space for us.

We remain here for as long as the sound of the gong permits.

When the sound of the gong leaves us,

We shall retrace our journey back through the bodies around the heart centre.

But for now,

We remain here in the place we wish to be,

In bliss.

The sound of the gong illuminates this space for us.

We remain here for as long as the sound of the gong illuminates this space for us.

We remain here for as long as the sound of the gong illuminates this space for us.

We remain here for as long as the sound of the gong illuminates this space for us.
