Namaste.
Welcome to the meditation for finding acceptance.
So please close your eyes gently,
Making yourself absolutely comfortable.
And scan your body for any tension residing in the neck,
Shoulders,
Or your arms.
Sink into whatever surface you are resting upon and allow the day to fall away.
Try bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice you observe your breath.
Notice whether it reflects the qualities you desire in your mind.
A breath that reflects qualities like a gentle breath,
A quiet breath,
A patient breath.
A breath that is steady,
Open,
Spacious,
And comfortable.
Balance your awareness between these three spheres of mindfulness.
Your body,
Your breath,
And the mind itself.
And stay present right here with all three.
A breath that reflects the qualities you desire in your mind.
As you breathe,
Allow yourself to be completely present.
Get warm.
You to observe what's present here with you.
Do you feel any sensations arising in the body?
Perhaps an energy that you can sense through the breath or a movement,
Emotion or even a habitual thought in the mind.
Whatever it is that you notice,
Welcome it with an open heart.
Allow it to be.
Try not to change it.
Run from it.
Push it away.
But allow yourself to remain absolutely still,
Open and embracing in your awareness as you accept what it is that rises to the surface.
This is how things are right here and right now.
So,
Continue to just observe and accept.
When we think of acceptance,
We have to remember that it's all about being non-judgmental,
Unattached and open.
Okay.
To accept does not mean we are endorsing something.
To accept is not an opinion.
When we accept,
We are simply recognizing and noticing,
Being mindful and aware of reality as it is.
What about now?
What's present here with you now?
What's arising in the body?
What can you sense through the breath?
Is there stillness or movement in the mind?
Okay.
If your mind has wandered and where it has wandered to and what is present with you here,
What can you sense through the breath?
Is there a stillness or a movement in the mind?
And like all things,
The stillness or movement will also change.
With acceptance,
We allow ourselves the freedom to change.
When we are no longer fighting reality,
By being accepting,
Life becomes easier and fluid.
When we are no longer fighting reality,
We allow ourselves the freedom to change.
As a result of our acceptance,
There can be a softening.
There can be a movement.
There can be a change.
Once again,
Notice what's present with you right here and right now.
Accept any sensations,
Thoughts,
And emotions.
Welcome them.
Give them space and freedom.
What type of energy do you sense through the breath?
And welcome it all in.
Observing it.
Resizing it with curiosity.
Returned to the space.
And notice your mind,
Whether there is stillness or movement again.
Okay.
Okay.
This time,
When you notice the stillness or the movement in your mind,
And you welcome it,
Accept it without attachment,
But also without trying to push it away.
Notice what will happen.
Sense the whole body,
The breath,
And the mind evolving into the freedom of acceptance.
Okay.
Nothing needs to be different right now.
This is how it is.
And from this place of acceptance,
Tap into the wisdom that being accepting provides.
Okay.
From the spaciousness of acceptance.
From this awareness of things as they are.
Before you open your eyes,
Connect to the wisdom in your body,
Your breath,
And your mind.
Okay.
Namaste.
