Welcome.
Thank you for joining this meditation to practice release with a little bit of reiki energy visualization.
To begin,
Find a comfortable seat,
Either on a meditation cushion or in a chair.
Sit tall with your spine erect and your shoulders heavy down your back.
Release in any tension you may be holding in your jaw,
Face or belly and allow the breath to soften.
Take a few deep breaths in and out right here.
Before we can allow any energy to release,
We need to secure our footing deep in our foundation.
So feel your sitting bones as they root into your seat,
Which roots into the earth,
And allow them to be heavy.
Imagine them to be like tree roots anchoring you down deep into the Mara of Mother Earth.
And breathe softly into this space.
It's a safe space.
It's where you begin,
Where you're at home,
Where you belong,
And where you're welcome.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Feel your chest gently expand as you take a breath in,
And feel it soften into itself as you take a breath out.
Notice this dance and rhythm as you breathe.
At the crown of your head,
Imagine a soft white light.
As you inhale,
Fill your lungs and belly with this white light and your breath.
And as you exhale,
Imagine that you're releasing specks of this white light as if it's coming out through your pores.
A deep breath in to fill the body with light,
And a deep breath out to release the light through the body.
Allow the white light to move down the body from the crown of the head to your third eye,
The space between the eyebrows,
Deep into the center of your head.
A deep breath in to fill the body with light,
And a deep breath out to release the light through the body.
Watch the white light move down to your throat and do the same.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
Simply allow what needs to come in to flood the body with light and release what needs to come out with the exhale.
Move the white light down to your heart and cleanse and renew here.
A deep breath in to fill the body with light,
And a deep breath out to release the light through the body.
Continue moving down to your belly and soften it and the sides and the back of it with your breath.
A deep breath in to fill,
And a deep breath out to release.
Notice the light and how it cleanses where it touches.
This is the Reiki energy moving through with the breath.
Allow the white light to move down deeper into your hips and settle into the corners and sides of them.
A deep breath in to fill the body with light,
And a deep breath out to release the light through the body.
And now imagine that white light settling at the base of your spine into those sitting bones and foundation that anchors you to Mother Earth.
Imagine the roots of the tree being enveloped in white light deep to the core of your being.
Take the deepest breath yet to fill the body with light,
And the deepest breath out to release the light through the body.
And now imagine that white light settling at the base of your being.
From crown to root,
From heaven to earth,
Breathe into your entire body.
Watch the luminous white light snake its way through each center of your being,
Filling it,
Blessing it,
And cleansing it.
Sit in this observation for as long as you need to,
For as long as it calls you.
When you're ready,
In this space of pure silence and ease,
Bring your palms together at heart center and bow down to your deepest light.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes and welcome yourself.
