So take a moment to make yourself nice and cozy.

If you aren't already,
Close down your eyes.
Feel your entire body relax.
Notice if you can soften your shoulders,
Part your teeth so your jaw can relax,
And feel that both of your legs are free of effort here as well.
Throughout your entire body,
It's as if every single muscle is relaxing,
And instead,
Your bones are doing the work.
Your muscles are disengaged.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And out from your mouth.
Very nice.
Let's do that one more time.
Deep breath in through your nose,
And out from your mouth.
Now breathe intentionally.
Breathe in a way that helps your mind stay present.
I know that when my body is in one place,
And my mind is in some completely different place,
It's not relaxing.
When my mind and body are in the same place,
It feels very good.
This is true for all of us.
If you arrive into this meditation and your mind is very busy,
Maybe you've had a long to-do list,
Maybe you've been experiencing a lot of conflict internally or within your relationships or job,
Whatever it may be,
Things that take you from your sense of presence,
I want to encourage you to set all of that aside.
Be right here,
Right now.
And trust me,
Anything that is necessary,
You'll pick it back up later.
I know that to be true.
Deepen your breath.
Feel how your breath creates movement throughout your entire torso.
The sides of your body move as you breathe.
The front and even the back of your body move as you breathe.
Something I have been working with regularly,
But I have been specifically working with a lot lately,
Is simply being the energy that I wish to attract.
I know if I have this expectation of being on the receiving end of joy and abundance and understanding,
If I want to receive all of that,
The best first step for me is to put those qualities out there today,
Tomorrow,
The next day,
To the best of my ability.
I will be the energy I wish to attract.
We all need different things at different times,
So I want to encourage you to maybe make a small list,
Like one,
Two,
Three,
Three qualities that you would like to receive.
Things that you would like to attract into your life,
No matter how small,
No matter how big.
The energy that you would like to attract,
What does that look like?
And now,
Time to be honest with yourself.
Sometimes this part of the mindfulness practice is really hard,
So I understand if it's triggering or hard.
I get that.
Now,
Be honest with yourself.
Those qualities that you wish to attract,
How are you when it comes to putting those things out?
Do you think you embody those qualities?
It's okay if not.
It's okay if you think you are just the best at it,
Because regardless,
We're going to start right now,
Really bringing our awareness to moments we succeed in projecting that energy,
As well as moments where we know we could do a bit better.
Anytime you're experiencing struggle or setting intentions,
You're really experiencing growth and opening up to growth.
And the first step to that is meeting yourself as you are.
So,
Being the energy you wish to attract,
Take a moment to revisit the shape of your body.
If there is any tension that has crept in anywhere,
Re-soften,
Deepen your breath,
Relax.
All is as it should be.
Today,
Tomorrow,
The next day,
To the best of my ability,
I will be the energy I wish to attract.
Within the context of your own life,
I want you to imagine a place that you go regularly.
It could even be at home.
Some place,
Some setting for you in which it's really easy to embody these qualities you wish to attract.
Where is it the easiest to embody these qualities?
We're going to make a small commitment when we are in that setting to really,
Really put it out there.
Connect to that energy and be the energy you wish to attract.
It won't be that hard.
Take a deep breath.
Relax your body.
Relax your mind.
And now,
I want you to imagine a setting where it's very difficult to embody these qualities.
Make a small commitment,
Even if every time you are in this setting,
It is so hard to be patient,
So hard to be positive,
So hard to be understanding.
Starting today,
You are going to do your very best to embody the energy that you wish to attract.
It might be pretty hard,
But I have great news for you.
You can do this,
And it will be incredibly rewarding.
And what you put out will come back to you times ten.
I just know it.
I believe in it.
And I can tell you this all day,
But the thing that's really going to be a game changer is when you know it and you believe in it.
So,
We have some small commitments,
No matter the setting,
In places where it's very easy to be the energy you wish to attract,
And in places where it is so freaking challenging.
You will be the energy you wish to attract to the best of your ability.
Now,
Relax your body.
Breathe deeply.
Feel your inhale expand your entire torso.
With your exhale,
Feel like your body is getting heavy into the ground.
The energy you wish to attract,
There's no limit of it to you.
There is a large supply of this energy that you have access to.
And I can tell you this all day,
But the magic is going to happen when you really are right here with me,
When you really believe in this and know this to be true.
So,
Internally,
Or even you can do this out loud.
Do it your way,
Okay?
Repeat after me.
I will be the energy I wish to attract.
Take a deep breath.
Repeat after me.
I am incredibly worthy.
Take a deep breath.
And repeat after me.
I know what I put back will come right back to me.
And so,
I'm going to project energy of positivity.
I'm going to send it out,
And I know.
See if you can actually listen to the internal sound that your breath creates.
See if you can actually feel your brain relax.
It's quite easy to practice our intentions and project the energy we would like to attract in this setting when you're actively meditating.
And I know there will come a time where it's not as easy,
I know there will be times and places where it actually takes a lot of effort and it's quite challenging.
But luckily,
I also know that when that time comes,
These intentions are powerful,
And you are capable of seeing your intentions through.
I want to tell you this analogy that comes from my favorite translation of the Yoga Sutras.
And there's this analogy within the book,
And it's really related to this topic.
And basically,
He says,
Imagine you decide,
Okay,
Tomorrow I'm going to go on a diet and I'm not going to eat any sugar.
Well,
Then what's going to happen is the next day,
You show up to work and it's two people's birthdays,
And there's a big cake in the break room all day.
Because if there is no sugar around,
You don't have to practice not eating sugar.
It's easy,
Right?
Only when the cake is there,
Is it really a practice.
Are you really living out your intentions?
And of course,
In this meditation,
I'm not talking about cake.
But if you plan on practicing patience,
Projecting joy,
Being more positive,
Unfortunately,
You need those small moments of challenge or even large,
Huge,
Painful moments of challenge to really see your intentions through.
We're all in this together.
And you can do this.
You are incredibly worthy.
And you can be the energy you wish to attract.
