Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
This meditation can be done either
seated or lying down so take a moment to discover your preferred posture.
As we
begin I would like to remind you that everything unfolds exactly as it should.
So now that we're settling in get to know how your body exists here today.
Perhaps you can relax your shoulders a little bit more,
Disengage your core,
Part
your teeth so your jaw is relaxed.
Most importantly give your mind permission to
relax.
Begin to simply locate your breath,
Inviting more attention to your
breathing.
Let every inhale be a little bit deeper and let every exhale take up
a little bit more time.
Invite a slight pause in between each inhale and exhale
so you are truly separating every piece that makes up one cycle of breath.
Feels good doesn't it?
Even just a few deep breaths can really help our bodies
and minds relax and that's a very basic tool from the meditation practice that
you can take with you everywhere.
Make your next cycle of breath the deepest
breath of your day.
Good job.
Here's something every human being in the world has done.
Two things.
Overthink
the past and worry about the future.
The best place to exist is the present
moment.
The best place to put your mental energy right here right now.
Notice where
your thoughts are and simply refocus to your breathing.
Know that your breath is
a helpful tool to exist fully in the present moment.
The more you think about
your breath the less you will be thinking about anything else.
Bring a
pause in between every inhale and every exhale and I encourage you to continue
to breathe like that for the next few minutes and as you do offer yourself
these reminders.
I allow myself to reflect on and learn from my past
experiences knowing that I cannot change them.
Take a deep breath.
I give myself permission to plan for the future with hope and confidence.
Take a
deep breath.
I let go of anxiety and fear.
Take a deep breath.
I know I will arrive
to exactly where I need to be.
Take a deep breath.
The present moment is worthy
of my full attention.
You know what to do.
I trust my plan for life and I also
trust life's plan for me.
This is one of my life mantras as I call them.
I trust
my plan for life and I also trust life's plan for me.
I trust my plan for life and
I also trust life's plan for me.
Refocus on your breathing.
Give your entire body
permission to relax.
You deserve to feel comfortable in your body and feel comfortable
in your mind.
Things are unfolding exactly as they should.
Namaste.
