And this is Yali,
And this is a simple five-minute guided meditation to start your day grounded.
So go ahead and just take a few moments to breathe long and deep,
And maybe you want to roll your shoulders,
Maybe you want to let out a sigh.
You can open and close your mouth,
Stretch your jaw,
Make yourself comfortable.
This meditation is not about perfection.
It is about greeting yourself and setting the tone of your day in a grounded and compassionate way,
Where you are being kind to yourself,
And usually the side effect of that is that you are kind to others.
This is a moment to breathe,
To be friendly,
And to simply allow yourself to be how and who and wherever you are.
Paying attention to your breath,
Moving in and out,
Softening,
And inviting yourself to come back from any places where you might be out in the future,
Back in the past,
Calling yourself in from any places where you have anticipation about your day,
And just inviting yourself to rest in this moment.
Go ahead and imagine,
Sense,
Or feel a big,
Beautiful tree.
Just invite this big,
Beautiful tree to connect to the base of your spine.
And travel down through all the layers and the textures,
All the frequencies,
And even the fragrances of the planet,
Connecting the base of your spine to the center of the earth,
And really tuning in with your energetic location.
Let yourself have the sensation of being held,
Of being supported,
Of being connected to the earth.
Invite your grounding cord to get nice and wide,
Wider than your hips,
And play with the qualities of a great tree,
Beautiful tree,
A healthy tree,
An old tree that has lived on the planet for a long time,
Is flexible and stable.
There is strength and also aliveness and fluidity.
Those qualities are great qualities to tune in with to set your day.
Inviting in wisdom,
Flexibility,
Strength,
And fluidity,
And just for a few moments allow yourself to have the sensation,
The energetic sensation of those qualities in your space.
And breathe.
I know for me those qualities feel really good when I tune back in to my strength and my fluidity.
To my stability and my flexibility.
So really allow yourself that sensation.
And let yourself release anything that doesn't serve you,
Any pain,
Sensation,
Tightness,
Tension.
And go ahead and create a big beautiful bubble above your head,
Filling it with gold,
With bright colors,
And spaciousness.
And just replenish yourself with this fresh energy.
Pouring it all the way down to the tips of your toes,
All the way deep inside of yourself.
And all the way out to the outer edges of you.
And when you're ready,
You can drop your head forward.
You can stretch.
You can gently start to open your eyes.
And step out into your day.

You can always come back to ground.
