Thank you so much for being here.
My name is Lily Allen-Duenas,
The founder of the Wild Yoga Tribe.
And today we are going to meditate together to find answers to our questions.
Find a comfortable seat,
Whether you decide to lie down or sit in a comfortable cross-legged position.
Start to feel your body.
Feel your feet on the mat,
On the ground,
On your bed.
Feel your hands gently resting on your knees.
Feel the way your legs are shaped,
The angles.
Feel the way your hips connect to the ground.
Feel the way that your chest rises with each breath.
Feel the way that your spine is positioned straight,
Tall.
Feel the slight tuck of your chin,
Slight tuck down towards your heart.
And feel your eyes closed,
Pressed together,
Your lips resting gently on top of one another.
What do you notice here?
What do you feel?
Do you feel heat anywhere in your body,
A warmth,
A glowing?
Do you feel an ache somewhere in your body,
Under your skin?
Can you feel the hollowness of your lungs as they inhale and exhale,
As they float on the breath and wind of every bit of air?
Take a moment,
Dear one,
Right here,
Feeling every being,
Every bit.
Take a moment here,
Dear one,
To fold down the corners of your being,
To slowly work to flatten out everything that has become wrinkled,
Crinkled,
Torn.
Using your awareness,
Smooth your sensations,
Scan down your body,
Starting at the tip of your head and all the way down to the tips of your toes.
Wherever you are,
Just keep scanning down,
Comforting yourself,
Breathing awareness into your body.
And now that you feel more aware and awake,
More open and openhearted,
Now that your shields have dropped and your walls have hopefully melted all away,
It's time to bring up your questions.
Whatever you have been wondering or struggling with or seeking an answer for,
Bring that question up in your mind.
Can you write the question in your mind?
Whether you decide to write it with a pen and a paper in your mind,
Or maybe skywriting with the clouds,
Write the words to the question.
As this question takes form,
As we breathe life into it,
See if you can gaze and read each word internally for this question.
Read it three times.
And now,
With the full knowledge that you are the cause and the solution to all of your problems,
With the knowledge that with every challenge comes a relief,
With the knowledge that you already know this answer.
Every answer to every question is already inside of you,
Already tucked under your skin,
Already floating around inside of your chest,
Tangled somewhere in the knots of your brain.
This question exists as this answer exists inside of you.
So ask yourself your own inner wisdom this question.
If you wish,
Envision yourself outside of your body,
Seated across from you.
Imagine that you look wiser,
Look kinder,
Look softer.
That person is your inner wisdom,
Your inner knowing.
Do you see the shining light come out of his eyes?
Do you see the softness of knowing in the corners of his mouth or her mouth?
Do you see the confidence in how his or her shoulders are held?
Ask this wise you,
This wise part of you,
Seated across from you,
Looking at you lovingly,
Ask yourself this question and wait until it responds.
Be patient.
Just listen.
Just listen.
Whatever this wise part of you has received,
Has revealed to you,
Feel gratitude and warmth surge out of your body.
Feel more comfortable and confident in having at least a piece,
A part of the puzzle answered.
Bow slightly to your inner wisdom and slowly bring your awareness back only into your body,
Solely into your body.
Breathe space into your body,
Feeling it swell out with the inhales and feel it release anything it's ready to let go of on the exhales.
Feel comfortable knowing you already have the entire answer,
The whole answer to your question inside of you.
You already know the answer.
You are the cause and the solution to all of your problems,
All of your questions.
Everything you seek is already inside of you.
The only way to go is inward.
That is where your answers lie.
So now take one huge,
Big,
Giant,
Expansive breath and release everything out into the ether.
Know that you can repeat this meditation as many times as you need.
You can seek the counsel of your wise inner self whenever you need.
You are never alone.
This wise part of you is always there.
Whenever you feel ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to the room.
Flutter your eyes open and smile.
