Welcome,
Wild one.
Now I want you to imagine yourself on a sailboat at dawn.
The world is quiet,
Except for a gentle lapping of water against the hull.
The horizon glows with soft golds and pinks,
Slowly waking,
Stretching across the sky.
Breathe in deeply and smell the salt in the air,
Let it fill your nose,
Your lungs,
Your belly.
Exhale it out and notice how it nourishes your body,
The minerals weaving into your bones,
Your blood,
Your cells.
Breathe in again deeply,
Breathe out slowly,
Releasing tension,
Worry and yesterday's weight.
Let the gentle sway of the boat rock you,
Reminding you there is a soft sense of safety here,
Even in the subtle uncertainty of the water beneath you.
You are supported,
Cradled,
Buoyed by the world around you.
Feel the sun's first rays on your skin,
Warming,
Tender,
Inviting.
With each breath imagine that light filling your body from crown to the toes,
From your heart to your fingertips.
Let your shoulders soften,
Allow your chest to open,
Feel your heart greet the day.
Notice the rhythm of the waves,
The air,
The boat,
And notice your rhythm syncing with it.
You are part of this fast moving world,
You are steady and flowing,
Safe and alive,
Even amidst the unknown.
Take a long deep inhale,
Gathering the freshness of the morning,
And exhale letting gratitude ripple through you like gentle waves.
Carry this sunrise inside you,
A reminder of your aliveness,
Your connection and the quiet safety that exists even when the day is uncertain.
Take your last deep inhale and let it flow out of you.
If you enjoyed this little reset,
Hit follow and share this with your fellow dawners so we can breathe,
Laugh and unwind together soon.
Until then,
Go well.
