Alright!

You're here!

That was the hardest bit,

Just choosing to sit down,

Lie down,

Take a moment,

Find this,

Press play.

Now,

Before your mind finishes its usual morning speech,

You know that one,

The running list,

The worries,

The replay,

The low-grade panic,

Disguised as productivity,

Let's interrupt it for a second.

Just,

Just a second.

Because whatever your thoughts are doing right now,

Hmm,

They're not the truth.

They're your habits warming up,

And there is a chance that there's a mixture of habits that empower you and habits that keep you in that negative spiral.

So,

With me,

Wild one,

Let's take a breath,

Not a fancy one,

Just in and out.

Good.

You're here.

Now,

Notice what your mind is already trying to do.

The planning,

The judging,

Remembering something embarrassing from 2014,

And probably running late for something that hasn't even happened yet.

That's okay.

We're not here to fight it.

We're just not letting it drive anymore.

So,

Let's bring your attention to your body for a moment.

I want you to feel where you're sitting,

Standing,

Or lying down.

Feel where you are supported in your body by something underneath you.

Now,

Take another one of those basic breaths.

Now,

Let your shoulders drop a fraction.

Your jaw soften.

And let's let that belly unclench.

Yeah,

You got it.

Another breath.

Here's the thing.

Most mornings,

We don't wake up into the day.

We tend to wake up into a thought loop.

Same worries,

Same doubts,

Same what-ifs and I shoulds.

And today,

In this moment though,

We're choosing something else.

Not fake positivity,

Just a better feeling channel.

So,

I want you to ask yourself quietly,

What am I actually feeling right now underneath the noise?

And I invite you,

You're not looking for fixing,

You're not looking for story,

You're just feeling for sensation.

Is there pressure somewhere?

Is there tingling?

Is there heat?

Is there numbness?

Good.

Now,

I generally want you to shift your focus to a place in your body that feels even 1% better.

And by better,

It might be calmer,

Might be warmer,

Might be more spacious.

Maybe it's your breath moving.

Maybe it's the warmth in your hands.

Maybe it's the fact that you're alive and listening to this instead of spiraling alone.

Now,

Whatever that 1% better feeling was,

I want you to let that sensation to grow slightly.

Don't force it,

Just let it grow slightly.

And even noticing or imagining how it's seeping into other parts of your body.

That warm,

Perhaps warm,

Or that slightly nicer feeling seeping into other parts of your body.

This is how patterns change.

Not by arguing with the mind,

But by feeding the nervous system something a little kinder.

Take another breath.

And here's a little truth bomb for the day ahead.

You don't need to solve your whole life today.

You don't even need to feel amazing.

You don't need to feel ready either.

You just need to be present enough to make the next honest choice.

That's kind of it.

And now notice how it feels to let the day be simpler,

Moment by moment.

It might appear less epic,

But it's definitely more human.

And now just in case your mind jumps in again being like,

Yeah,

But what about an uh-uh?

Thank it.

And use your breath to come back to the body.

Breathe into the feet.

Breathe into the chest.

Breathe into the head.

And let it all go with each breath,

Feeling your weight become heavier as you become more present,

More here.

Now imagine the day ahead not as something to survive,

But something you're walking into.

You don't need to control it.

You don't need certainty,

Perhaps just a bit of curiosity.

And I invite you to sit quietly to yourself now.

Let's see what today actually brings.

And then feel what it's like to be curious rather than presumptuous,

To stay open to the mystery,

Whilst knowing that no matter what happens,

You will be okay.

And there's a chance you could even be better than okay.

Just remember to focus on staying open rather than focusing on those old stories.

Feel your chest widen,

Your heart lead the day.

Let's take a breath into this openness,

A deep one this time.

And to make sure we're doing one all together,

Let's all meet on the exhale.

And then in through the nose,

Inhale.

Hold it at the top,

Maybe sucking a little bit more.

And then out of the mouth.

Let it go.

Notice the shift,

Even when it's subtle,

Even if it's just a little less tight.

That's beautiful.

You've interrupted the loop,

And you've opened up to a different trajectory.

Now you can even try and say trajectory really fast 10 times.

I want you to carry this feeling with you.

Not perfection,

Not pressure,

Just presence.

And when those thoughts start up again,

Because they will,

You'll know what to do.

Come back again,

And again.

All right,

Now,

Go live your very real,

Very precious day.

You're already doing better than you think,

You legend.

See you next time.
