Thank you for being here.
I know what's invited you here is pain and the desire for some relief.
So let's see what we can do through the power of deeply connecting with ourselves without judgment.
Let's take this time together to soften into the now,
To breathe and to offer kindness to the parts of ourselves that hurt.
Remembering you are not broken,
You are a living,
Breathing miracle in motion.
And today we listen.
So let your body be just as it is.
No need to change a thing.
You've been carrying so much.
And for this moment,
You don't have to.
Begin by feeling the rise and fall of the front of your body.
Inhale through the nose,
Slow and full.
Do it as if you're breathing in warm sunlight and then exhale like you're letting go of the whole day.
Now gently scan your body from the inside.
Start at your feet and move up slowly,
Kindly through your legs and your hips,
Your belly and your chest until your attention arrives back at your back.
Now say hello to this place.
The one that whispers or maybe even screams.
What is it asking for?
Take a breath into it.
Not to fix it,
But to be with it.
Maybe there is a sadness,
Maybe frustration,
Maybe mystery.
And all of that is welcome.
You might even say to this part of you,
I see you,
I hear you,
I'm listening.
Now soften your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your hands.
Let gravity help you melt just a little more.
Let's hold this idea that pain is not your enemy.
It is a messenger,
A tender tap from your inner world asking to be felt,
Not feared.
Louise Hayes teaches us that the back holds our sense of support,
Emotional,
Financial,
Spiritual.
You don't need to know exactly what it means right now,
But can you offer yourself support in this very breath?
Say softly to yourself,
I am safe to rest.
It's okay not to have all the answers.
I am supported by the earth beneath me,
By the breath within me,
By the great mystery holding it all.
You are not alone here.
You are connected to every human who has ever felt pain,
Every tree that bends in the wind,
And every wave that reshapes the shore.
And even this,
This pain is part of your path,
Not as a punishment,
But as a chapter,
Not forever,
But an invitation to walk more gently with yourself.
Some days you know already will be easier and some won't,
But how you meet yourself,
That's where the power lives.
And you are doing better than you know.
When you are ready,
Begin to bring some gentle movement back,
Maybe a little wiggle of the fingers,
And a small stretch of the shoulders.
Thank your body for speaking to you,
And thank yourself for listening.
With each breath forward,
May you walk with more tenderness,
More presence,
And more trust in the unfolding.
Because you are held,
You are healing,
And you are never alone.
